Math Tricks for Kids - Be a Mathemagician - Math fun - Math Magic - Magic Maths for kids
Math is one kind of hobby for some people that at some point it turns to a game and a challenge which they want to win. Not all the kids are the same, but those who are interested in math and the different tricks related to it, this educational video is here to give them a hint.
Some of these different math tricks could turn your kid into a mathemagician through playing them on other people who are not familiar with such tricks. The first math trick we brought in this video is about getting the number "3" as an answer to any number you choose to deal with in this trick. The first trick should go through some steps:
- First, think of a whole number bigger than zero.
- Second, square that number.
- Third, add the original number.
- Fourth, divide the last answer by the original number you chose.
- Fifth, add the number 17.
- Sixth, take away the original number.
- Last, divide all this by the number 6.
The answer should always be "3" no matter which number you tend to choose after all.
The second math trick is to help those kids who are finding some difficulty in dealing with 9 times table to find the answers. All what the kid will do is open the two hands in front of him/her and number each one of the fingers from 1 to 10 in the right order. The next step will be folding the finger representing the number that 9 is being multiplied by and the answer will appear through the other fingers. Folding the first finger to multiply 9 by 1 means that the answer will be nine. If the answer is two digit-number then the one before the folded finger is the first digit and the second is of those after it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4UwqDwZlf8).
There is another trick similar to the first one but taken through other different steps and bringing a different answer at the end. This time instead of just playing the trick with your friends or family, you could write the number 5 on a piece of paper, fold it, and then let the person choose a number and show them this paper at the end. The different steps taken in the mathematical trick are:
- Let them choose a number, any number.
- Double this number (multiply it by 2).
- Add 10 to the last answer.
- Divide the answer you have by 2.
- Subtract the chosen original answer by the number you have and the answer should be now 5.
In addition to the different tricks that could be done through mental additions or even through using paper and pen, there is this mathematical trick done with using the calculator. Kids are not supposed to use a calculator until a specific age when the operations they have to handle are a little bit difficult that it might take time from them to do it mentally. This trick is interesting because it is for guessing the age and it is also about some steps that should be followed:
- Write down the year of your birth
- Double it
- Add 5
- Multiply by 50
- Add your age
- Add 365
- Subtract 615
The answer you are going to receive will include your year of birth (the first four digits) and your age (the last two digits).
There are lots of different tricks when it comes to math and even those who might not be very interested in the world of math, they will still feel very interested when they find themselves bringing out the answers and tricking those who are playing with them - kids will always feel very happy when they play such games because they will experience the happiness of getting the right answers and impressing their family members, their friends, and even their teachers.
The need to become a mathemagician depends on how professional the kid is when it comes to the mathematical games and tricks and how professional they are with playing them and pretending that they are real magicians with bringing those answers no matter what is the number that their prey have chosen.
Let your kid see this video and try these different mathematical tricks with their friends and see how interesting being a magician is! Enjoy watching this video about the math tricks with your kids and have fun and let us hear your feedback! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0bp1K3IswY)
