Part of the homeschooling process is teaching the kids through telling them some stories or letting them watch these stories. Stories or fairy tales in general are not just interesting for the kids to watch for the sake of watching cartoon, but it is always helpful to measure the amount of attention paid by the kids through asking them some questions related to the story when they finish watching it.

The little red hen is the story of the red hen that keeps asking the cat, the rat and the dog to help her in planting and collecting the wheat but they refuse because they are too busy doing nothing but relaxing and drinking tea. The red hen then baked the bread and refused to give any of them a piece and choose to eat it all by herself.

There should be always a reason behind choosing a specific story to tell your kids; it should have a meaning and it should teach them something. In this story for example, kids should learn to help one another if they are free or just relaxing doing nothing important. Sometimes the message delivered through the story is not straightforward and this is also one good thing to ask the kids about what did they understand from the whole story.

There are different stories found on our channel which you could find and let your kids watch and we have those questions attached to which you could ask your kids and see how well they paid attention to it all. Some of these stories could be explaining a real thing that kids should know about, such as the life cycle of the butterfly (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFcyxTu9zE0).

From the other stories which we have on Learningmole, there is Rapunzel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtPKeaqNFJc), Gingerbread Man (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvJo8mzsfdE),The Three Billy Goats Gruff (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=US9eim1K-Pg), Three Little Pigs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZYrgEuvzk8), Ten in a Bed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZC_ScHpCg8), Five Fat Sausages (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmRXia0yMgk), Five Little Monkeys (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6QCcRZK2yU), and different other stories which you might even know from television and which your kids might have already seen.

As much as it is interesting for the kids to watch cartoon in general, it is also important to expose them to cartoons with stories behind them and not just those which are aimless. As much as it is interesting for the kids to answer questions related to what they have seen and know how far they have managed to understand the story, it is also like a challenge for them to answer the questions they receive and answer them correctly. Parents could also consider this a game which the kids will play, the one answering correctly more is the winner.

In addition to the little red hen story which we have brought in this video, there are still other stories for kids on Learningmole which parents could let their kids watch. On our channel, Aaron is helping with telling the stories to give the kids more excitement and let them enjoy watching and listening to the stories.

The list could go further to include other stories on our list, such as "Mary had a Little Lamb" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iD-WcX6Otzk), "This Little Piggy" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itCWrND93dw), "Old Mother Hubbard" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KaqDCPF-CM), "Two Little Dickie Birds" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwVIwphlruc).

Kids love stories and you will even see them paying attention to the details of a story you are telling them because they will love to hear stories they haven't heard before and they will enjoy the idea of knowing the end of the story they are watching, they are looking forward to the end of the story and understanding it all.
