Homeschooling your kids urges you to become creative with the techniques and games which you might be using to teach them something and this is important to let them get excited and love the idea of learning.

Math might be from the tricky subjects and lessons out there especially when it comes to multiplication and that is exactly why parents or even teachers at school should always make it look easier. Multiplication for kids could happen through lots of ways and one of the most known is the timetable which usually teaches them how to multiply. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3duqrhE8Xw)

The multiplication games that Michelle suggested through this educational video are fun and the most important of all is that they will let the kids listen and think. There are five different multiplication games that Michelle suggested, so if the first one was not much interesting for your child, you could try another.

The first option that we have is known as the "Fizz Buzz" game. The whole idea behind this multiplication game is letting the kid playing with you say buzz whenever the number that is part of the times table you have chosen from the beginning appears. Fizz Buzz is to make the game a little bit harder, the kid will need to say buzz for the first chosen number and fizz for the second and when one number that suits them both appears, "fizz buzz" will be said. This is one good game because it will let the kid listen and at the same time think to remember whether that number is in the timetable or not.

The second multiplication game for kids is the times tables aerobics. This is one to choose when you find your kids getting lazy during the day, it doesn't even have to be during a math lesson. You will choose any aerobic movement that the kid will do when the number related to the time table you are working on is mentioned - good for a little bit of exercise as well.

Stand up and sit down game is an interesting one and could be also played if you are teaching a number of kids and not just one because in this game you will ask them to stand up when the numbers from the timetable you have chosen to work on are mentioned and sit down when the numbers not related to it are said.

Multiplication for kids might at the beginning take time from them to think and come up with the right answer but when they get used to it, it all become easier for them. The finger speed multiplication is one of the other games that Michelle suggested and in this game, the kids will need to use their minds in order to give the right answer for the two numbers which will appear on the fingers of the person playing with them; for example, you will hold two on one hand and five on the other and they will need to say 10 as an answer. This might need them to pay great attention, the only thing about this game is that it might not work with big numbers and timetables. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7HC_4XRZTM)

The last multiplication game for kids is called "bingo". In this game, you will ask the kid to choose six numbers that you know are in the timetable you are playing with; for example, choose from 0 to 25 if you are playing with two timetable, and then let them cross those numbers which are part of the times table and when they finish say "bingo".

There are lots of multiplication games out there which will teach kids how to multiply without even knowing that they are doing it and that's the point behind them because kids don't like to learn something in the ordinary straightforward ways because they will not stick to the mind like those fun games which you would play with them. Homeschooling is important and the ways and methods chosen are even more important, so always choose those which will be interesting for you as much as they will be for the kids, because that way you would be sure about the whole process.
