Alone in the Faroe Islands
I've spent the past four years exploring the Faroe Islands.
Standing on sea cliffs in gale-force winds. Waiting for storms to pass. Driving empty roads between tiny villages. Chasing sunsets that never come.
This trip felt like a collection of everything I've come to love about these islands.
The weather fought me almost every day. I got soaked, snowed on, and regularly questioned my plans.
But somewhere between the storms, the ferries, the puffins, and the epic cliffs, I was reminded why I keep coming back.
Not for any one place.
Just for the feeling these islands leave you with.
I hope you enjoy the journey.
