The renovation of this abandoned brick ruin continues! [ #174]

Last year we started renovating this abandoned brick ruin we found on our land. Just before last winter, we had to wrap it to shield it from the harsh weather conditions. Now that Season 6 of Project Kamp has started, we could unwrap it and continue on the renovations. Our rat-proofing of the land also continues with Cameron setting rat traps (and spoilers: catching some of them!).

🏕️ What is Project Kamp?
In 2020, we bought an abandoned piece of land in Portugal to prototype a more sustainable way of living. Our goal is to try to find another way to live, one that is more in harmony with our environment. There is a lot to figure out: what building material we use for houses, how do we store energy, what do we eat.

We believe the future of mankind is living and working in communities. Sharing resources and working together. We are building a community on our land to test it in real life and collaborate with our online community.

And we research this not just for ourselves, but for the whole planet. Our goal is to develop a blueprint that people around the world can replicate. All the information, learning and things we develop are shared open source online. So everyone in the world can use it.
