This is the second cable-driven grandfather clock (and the last one I got serviced) before moving out of my apartment. I wanted to get a cable-driven grandfather clock that sounded different than the Haverhill I got in October 2022. After months of painstaking searching (and researching), I finally found one. The owners were going to move to an assisted living facility, so their son and daughter-in-law were going to sell it. I found it on Facebook Marketplace just by chance, and I jumped on it. I got it for $375 plus $100 shipping, but it was still an excellent deal. Apparently, the clock needed to be serviced, and hadn't been since it was manufactured in 1984. I have plans to show it in my new house in the future.
