Jason Kelce joins a NASCAR pit crew.

For the first episode of Kelce Versus, I went down to Charlotte Motor Speedway and Hendrick Motorsports to find out if a retired NFL center has any business being part of a real pit crew during a real race..

First I climbed into a stock car with William Byron and ran some laps. Then the Hendrick crew tried to teach me how to change tires, jack the car, and hand in fuel. Turns out going over the wall takes a little more than one day of practice, so I stayed behind the wall running sign man and handling fuel… but I made the crew, and I got to be part of the team for a live race at Talladega.

I'm not going to spoil it, but Corey Day picked an unforgettable day to grab the first win of his career. Still can't believe I got to be there for it.
