Japan’s Tiny Forests Are Taking Over Britain — It’s Changing Everything

Britain is planting forests the size of tennis courts in car parks, school playgrounds, and motorway verges — packing hundreds of trees so tightly together that conventional forestry says they should fail. Instead, within a decade, they become dense ecosystems filled with insects, birds, cooling shade, and living soil.
