Pop star Minnie. Mickey and the gang are all together at the clubhouse.
Look what I got, says Minnie, an invitation to sing at a special concert.
Gosh, Minnie, says Goofy, you're gonna be a star.
I've always dreamed about singing on stage, Minnie says.
Daisy is excited for her friend. You'll be sensational.
We can be your backup band, says Mickey.
Why, thank you, says Minnie with a smile.
But they'll have to hurry. The concert begins at sunset.
Daisy asks Minnie what song she'll sing.
I'm not sure, Minnie says.
Don't worry, says Daisy. We'll help you decide.
It's time for some Mousekatools, says Mickey.
The Mousekadoor clicks and clacks and whirs.
We've got bagpipes, a red carpet, a disco ball and the mystery Mousekatool.
The gang is ready to go.
But first, they have to get their instruments from the clubhouse's music room.
Oh, no. Some instruments are missing.
Goofy gasps. Did someone take them without asking?
Daisy finds her flute. At least that's one instrument.
Mickey sees tire tracks.
Whoever took the rest went that-a-way.
Mickey pulls up in the musical tour bus and everyone gets in.
The friends sing songs as the bus rattles along.
Suddenly, they hear a ploinkety-ploink sound.
Look, says Goofy. It's Baby Redbird plucking my banjo.
Goofy trades the birdie, a gooey worm, for the banjo.
Back on the bus, Goofy strums his banjo.
Maybe I'll sing a country song, says Minnie.
Donald spots his harmonica on the side of the road.
Mickey and Donald hop out of the bus.
That's when Mickey notices that the road is full of potholes.
They need a Mousekatool to get across the potholes.
Tootles comes right away.
Let's try the carpet, says Goofy.
It works! The bus drives on the carpet over the potholes.
But then Pluto starts to bark.
He sees the maracas.
Pluto grabs the maracas and gets back on the bus with a shake-shake-shake.
Everyone sings a mariachi song as they roll along.
I love mariachi songs, says Goofy.
What do you think, Minnie?
They're fun, agrees Minnie.
But I still don't know what to sing at my concert.
The bus screeches to a halt.
Mickey's drum is on the side of the road.
And Chip and Dale are bouncing nuts off it.
The nutty rhythm gets everybody moving to the beat.
Minnie leads a conga line.
They end up in the woods.
Gosh, it's getting late, says Mickey.
Let's go back.
But it's so dark, Minnie says.
We need help finding our way.
Oh, Tootles!
Tootles appears and Donald chooses the disco ball.
The disco ball lights the way back to the bus.
But before long, Mickey has to stop the bus again.
It's Pete.
He has a flat tire and the rest of the missing instruments.
I wanted to be Minnie's opening act,
he says.
I'm sorry.
That's okay, says Mickey.
We can share the instruments.
But what about my tire, says Pete.
Oh, Tootles, calls Mickey.
Goofy picks the bagpipes.
He attaches one pipe to the tire and blows into another.
It works!
Finally, the friends arrive at Melody Mountain with their instruments.
It's almost time for the show.
But there's no stage.
I guess I'll never be a singing sensation, Minnie says sadly.
Never say never, says Mickey.
He puts a coin into a slot on the bus.
It clatters and shakes and pops open into an amazing stage.
Oh, Mickey, says Minnie.
Did you do all this for me?
I just wanted your dream to come true, Mickey explains.
That's why I sent you that invitation.
But Minnie still needs to pick a song.
Tootles gives her the Mystery Mouse Cthulhu, an electric guitar.
Now I know what kind of song to sing, Minnie says.
Let's rock!
Pete starts the show with his one-man band act.
Then Minnie and her band start to play.
The band is great, but Minnie is sensational.
Minnie's concert is a big hit.
You're a star now, says Daisy.
That's right, Mickey cheers.
She's Pop Star Minnie!
