Will I Run Out Of Gas Deep In Australia's Outback?
Venture deep into the heart of the Australian outback and visit the tiny towns along lonely roads. I'd never been worried when I had almost half a tank of gas but I was getting concerned as it might be 200 miles to the nearest gas station. This was not a place to run out of fuel. What I thought might be a settlement turns out to be just a remote cattle station. I'm deep in mining country and I stop to see the old mining town of Mount Hope, population 16. No fuel there. I continue onward, keeping an eye on the ever-dropping fuel needle.
I happen upon a cemetery in the middle of nowhere and find what looks to be an very old headstone. Kangaroos and quirky things like the bra fence keep the outback entertaining.
