This is an edited update of a previous video explaining what components make up a diesel exhaust aftertreatment system. Includes explanations of EGR, Crankcase ventilation, Aftertreatment fuel injection, the diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), The diesel particulate filter (DPF), Regeneration, Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and the rest of the selective catalyst reduction (SCR) system.

This is a great intro to the components especially for new technicians or the casually interested.
