We start our adventure at the stunning Rice Tray Viewpoint (Mâm Xôi), then descend a narrow mountain road, crossing the famous Khau Phạ Pass (Đèo Khau Phạ) to the charming town of Mu Cang Chai. From there, I take a steep incline to one of the most scenic viewpoints on Earth: Đồi Móng Ngựa (or 'Du Lich Vong Lua,' as marked on the road sign).

Just a short trip from Hanoi, it boasts more natural beauty than Halong Bay and Ninh Binh, in my opinion.
