We headed down to Idaho again to camp and visit the Sawtooth Mountain area. We were close and heard it was beautiful so we couldn't help ourselves. As we followed the Salmon River towards the headwaters on Hwy 93, we started to see more haze in the air. Air quality warnings were next on our App's but we ventured on figuring that we would not be impacted. We found a great boondocking spot near Stanley Lake and with a view of the Sawtooth Mountains...when the smoke and haze cleared. We love camping so we hope this does not become an issue with the fires on the other side of the mountains.
