This is the third video in the historical sewing for beginners playlist series. Often one can have the desire, passion, and even motivation to pursue a new hobby like historical sewing, but might feel overwhelmed about where to start. This video offers a series of tips and tricks to help you get motivated to begin your historical sewing journey. Whether you intend to create garments by hand or by machine, knowing this information could assist in steering you in the right direction, along with bringing clarity to a sometimes frustrating topic. I want to encourage each and every one of you to pursue historical sewing if you have the desire. As the thumbnail says, I've only been sewing for 7 months (since August 2020) and I was able to hand sew this ensemble (and others) with a lot of practice, desire, interest, and most of all patience. You, too, can make beautiful historical dress that you love to wear, and it does not have to take many years of work and practice to make a pleasantly wearable garment that makes you feel confident!
