Why does a town exist in the middle of the Arctic, thousands of kilometers away from everything?
In this video, I take you to Longyearbyen: the northernmost town in the world with a permanent population, to explore how it was built, why people still live here today, and what makes this place so strange and fascinating.
Abandoned mines, surreal rules, complete isolation, landscapes that feel like the end of the world, and a daily life unlike anywhere else on Earth.
But most importantly: does it still make sense to live here?
This is one of the most remote, cold, and unsettling places I’ve ever seen… and maybe one of the most incredible too. ❄️
