Following a severe storm, the narrator discovers a mysterious whirlpool in their koi pond. After ruling out pump malfunctions and electrical surges, an underwater camera reveals a major pipe leak. The narrator manages to stop the flooding by forcing a jammed valve shut, but the resulting water loss leaves the pond dangerously low and the koi in peril.
