Olsekki is rescued | Sheldrick Trust

Olsekki was tragically rescued after his mother suffered a severe broken leg, leaving her virtually immobile. In partnership with KWS, our Sky Vets flew to make a full diagnosis of his mother who was suffering greatly, and the heartbreaking decision was made to euthanise her.

Olsekki is now at our Nairobi Nursery, and though he has lost his mother, finds comfort and love amongst his new family and the other orphaned elephants in our care.
