*Series* RVing Canada during winter Vancouver Island: East Sooke Park, Copper Mine Trail hike.
Being on Vancouver Island in an RV during the winter (during a pandemic) was not part of the plan, the discovery of the Island's hikes has made our mouths drop to the ground many a times with the mind the numbing beauty at each corner. This hike is what solidified our understanding of West Coast Philosophy; which we briefly talk about in the video. All out of province and international travellers must go for a hike: East Sooke Regional Park, The Copper Mine Trail. Numbingly gorgeous, this trail offers everything. Ocean, mountains, rain forest, an abandoned mine from the 1800's and vistas from the top of Mt. McGuire. It is everything what you expect a Vancouver Island hike to be. ps. Just don't be like us and get so excited that you get lost in the dark, did we make it back or get rescued....watch to the end to find out.
