Baby Seal Wounded By Fishing Line

If we hadn’t stumbled upon this baby seal, he wouldn’t have made it any longer. Apart from removing the entanglement, there’s unfortunately not much we can do for his wound. Seal specialists advised us that, unless we can keep the animal for rehabilitation, we should avoid applying any medicines to their wounds. There are also no seal rehab centers in Namibia to take care of this animal, so he will have to recover on his own with the help of salt water. We see healthy recaptures every single day, so we’re hopeful he’ll recover.
