Teofilo Patini | Blood painter /Albinoni

Teofilo Patini (1840-1906) was a prominent Italian painter who became a master of Verismo painting style. His powerful canvases captured the raw, impoverished reality of the rural working class in Southern Italy post-unification. He refined his craft through study scholarships in Florence and Rome. He drew inspiration from the Neapolitan School of Filippo Palizzi, the Macchiaioli, and French Realism.
