After living in my van for 2 years while my house was being renovated, I eventually had to make a difficult decision — stay in the van or move back into the house and deal with real life.
This video is about why I stopped full time vanlife, why I moved back into a house, and why it wasn’t as simple as just choosing freedom.
The house renovations left me with debt, I had responsibilities at home, and I needed a more stable way to rebuild financially. So I started fostering, paying off renovation debt, and working towards a future where vanlife can become more permanent again.
I don’t see this as quitting vanlife. I see it as pressing pause while I build a more sustainable life on the road.
