We Built a Log Cabin Together | Father and Son in the Deep Forest
May 24, 2026
A father and his son build a real wooden cabin together in a forest clearing — from the first log to a furnished, decorated space made for kids.
Every cut, every nail, every screw done side by side. The father guides, the son builds — learning to measure, saw, hammer, and fasten with real tools on a real project. Timber frame walls go up in a forest clearing, a roof fitted over, and then the inside: handmade wooden furniture, decoration, every detail made for the children who will use it. A cabin built for a son and his sister, but really a build about something else — a father passing down the craft by hand.
This is what a weekend in the forest looks like when the work is real and the company is right.
