This is how I make my shrimp chow mein recipe. This recipe is super quick, easy, and very, very delicious!

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE SHRIMP MARINADE:
โข 1 lb shrimp, cleaned & rinsed
โข 1 tsp BeSureToCook Seasoning Blend
โข 1/8 tsp salt
โข 1/8 tsp sugar
โข 1/4 tsp white pepper
โข 1/8 tsp baking soda
โข 1 tsp sesame oil
โข 1ยฝ tsp rice wine vinegar
โข 1ยฝ tsp vegetable oil
โข 1ยฝ tsp cornstarch
FOR THE CHOW MEIN:
โข Fresh chow mein / lo mein noodles
โข Carrots, julienned
โข Napa cabbage, chopped
โข White onion, sliced
โข Green onions, chopped
โข Bean sprouts
โข 2 tsp vegetable oil
โข 1 tsp garlic, minced
โข Dark soy sauce
โข Light soy sauce
โข 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
โข 1 tbsp stir fry original sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a bowl, add shrimp along with:
BeSureToCook Seasoning Blend, salt, sugar, white pepper, baking soda, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, vegetable oil, and cornstarch.
2. Mix well and marinate for 10โ15 minutes.
3. Prep vegetables by julienning carrots, slicing onion, chopping napa cabbage, green onions, and rinsing bean sprouts.
4. Bring water to a boil and cook fresh chow mein noodles according to package directions.
5. Heat a hot wok or pan with vegetable oil and toast garlic.
6. Add shrimp and cook until almost fully done.
7. Add finely chopped green onions and a splash of dark soy sauce. Stir well.
8. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
9. Add more oil, then cook onions, carrots, bean sprouts, and napa cabbage.
10. Add cooked noodles to the pan with light soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and stir fry sauce.
11. Add shrimp back into the pan and toss everything together until fully coated and heated through.
12. Serve hot and enjoy!
