We leave the Pads in Death Valley National Park and Lake Manly behind as we travel scenic Highway 160 to Las Vegas. Why not? We haven't traveled it before and seems like a good road. Our tandem drive axles are really nice so Matt's Off Road Recovery will not be needed in the foreseeable future. Whew! Headed to Las Vegas is a big gamble because Thousand Trails Las Vegas RV Resort is tight, very tight. Will we fit? We plan to do something stupid...but if it works out then it will be a very cool and EPIC adventure. We'll find out! We enjoy the Las Vegas strip for good food, entertaining shows and a vibe/energy which is so unique to this city. We've come out West to enjoy a nice warm winter season and to experience some first time activities for us. Who knows where the road leads? It's exciting to be able to live this lifestyle so no complaints here. We are not Snow Birds as we are always traveling nearly every week but we do like nice warm weather and heading west is the best. We will raise our solar panels and brush them off to power our stay and experience these epic treasures of Mother Nature as we venture on.
