You can live in the Grand Canyon. I need to go to America, man. That is so cool.
Okay, so at 4.30 this morning, I was awoken after a very peaceful, blissful sleep to two cars
parking next to Gloria, just there. Whole car park, empty. Park next to Gloria. Naturally,
the alarm bells went off. I woke up from the most beautiful slumber
to see two cars and hear voices. I was like, okay, this is the end. This is how I go. This
is how I die. I looked out the window. I saw someone beelining it for little. I was like,
are they going to rob it? Am I witnessing a crime? Am I an accomplice? What's going to happen?
And I kept watching. And I heard more voices from around here. I was like,
please do not be throwing a party next to me because it's happened once too many times.
And after a while, the PTSD just floods straight back into the system. As soon as I hear such as
one bass note, like a boom of a car stereo. If you've ever stayed in a van, you will understand
the sheer fear this noise brings, which is quite hypocritical because I do drive around with my
music at the full volume it will go. And I suppose I am a white van driver, so you know, we can do
what we want. I'm in the land of no rules. But at 4.30, this was highly stressful. I looked out the
I watched them. And soon enough, lo and behold, the lights of little lit up. They were workers.
It felt like Christmas. It felt like an occasion because I saw the lights get turned on in a
supermarket. Do you know how rare that experience is? I feel like I'm pretty blessed right now
because I've witnessed it that I feel like I shouldn't have seen it doesn't feel right,
but I saw it and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. So this car park has just been
nothing but a fantasy fulfilled, a dream come true for me. So this has been the most magical
experience. I don't like it here. The van's surrounded by rubbish. There's concrete, too
much gray, loud noises, and I'm ready to leave. But I just want to share a little anecdote with
you guys, because, well, that's what life's about, sharing. And as you can tell, I have been in a van
for too long because it's been raining every day. And now I've forgotten how to function and to speak
normally. So if you would just please assist me in leaving this car park, that would be absolutely
fabulous because, yeah, I don't think it's healthy for me anymore. Let's go. Let's try flying the
Grand Canyon of here. Oh my gosh, that's such a good idea. Right, we're finding the Grand Canyon
of wherever this place is right here, right now, today. We're gonna do it. That's our mission.
Just that's our mission. Okay, are you ready? Let's get ready. Okay, get ready with me.
Ow! Oh my god, ow, that hurts so much. I've been sitting on the edge of that countertop.
That has left an indent. Right, what do I wear? What do I wear to visit a canyon? Right, I'm gonna
wear this brown outfit I've worn about 60 times because it is the only thing I own that is comfortable.
Okay. Oh, I can't wait to get out of this car park. I've been here for far too long. This is a cute little
place. It's like loads of townhouses, all very colorful, all very put together.
It's giving such a pave, but like mountain edition. Brooks, we're going in the right direction.
Very good, very good sign. Yes! I just saw another woman driving a camper van alone.
Yes, queen! We made eye contact.
That was it, but we know we exist. Wow, that was a great moment.
Wow, look at the mountains. They got a got a mist going. They got a cloud. They're in the cloud.
Oh my god. It's even better I have glasses on now. I can actually see everything.
I am impressed. Mother Nature, you did it again. Such a queen, such a queen. Just providing us
with all this beauty for ******* free. Are you kidding me? She does not get enough credit.
Does not get enough credit. Classics, really. Holy ----, this road is steep.
We are literally climbing the mountain, I think. Look at that. Wow, this is a great decision.
Since she broke everything in the van, holy ----.
I don't even know why I'm here. This is just really a bin.
It's getting boring. Right, I need to go back to the other place. Plus, there was another woman in
a camper van. I don't know why, but I'm in a very sociable mood. This never happens. I don't know
what to do with myself. I want to say hi. I'm like a little dog. I'm like, I don't want to say hi.
I never want to say hi. Today, I just want to say hi to everyone. Well, actually,
hi to solo female van people because we're cool. Oh my Lord, look at that.
Look how pretty that is. Excuse me. Excuse me. Is there a walk? There better be a walk. I'm
trying to find the Grand Canyon up here. Okay, this is what we have. This is what we're working
on. Okay, so apparently, there's a hike. It looks like it's about absolutely pissed down,
so I don't really know what to do. We found the rock I was looking for, so that
is excellent news. I guess we just walk and see. It's going to be such a mistake. I already know
it's literally about to rain, but we must commit to the cause and what we set out to do today,
so let's do it. Okay, we're just going to hop it back and wait for the rain real quick.
You might be wondering what I'm doing.
Rooms to let. 50 cents. No phone, no car, no pets. I ain't got no cigarettes. I've been
two hours after.
This thing's so much fun to play. You might be like, Ami, what are you doing, girl?
This is a stringless guitar by Lever Live. As you guys know, I have tried musical instruments in the
past. We've had a keyboard in here. We've had a guitar in here. As you can see, they're not in
here anymore. Why would that be? Because they were too big, because I forget that there's no space in
here, and that really sucks. But now, very easy to learn how to do, very fun to play. Okay, we don't
have the traditional strings, but we still have the challenge of making sure, you know, you're
selecting the right chord, you're strumming at the right time, and there's even an app where you can
follow along to literally any song you want. I thought King of the Road was fitting. Loving
learning this. Here is the score, or the music note, and here are the lyrics, so you can sing along
whilst strumming, and it gives you a cue when to sing as well. So instead of using strings,
Lever Live uses real-time chord pads. You just press the illuminated buttons on the side and
strum. That's it. We've got guitar, piano, bass. You can change the key. It's basically a whole band
in this little guy. Also, you can customize up to 72 advanced chords too, if you're working on a more
complex chord sheet. Also, the chords are defaulted to C, D minor, E minor, F, G, A minor, and B minor. So as you
can see, it is so easy and fun to play, and more importantly, you can actually bring it with you
when you're traveling. Honestly, a game changer. I absolutely love it. It's so cool. The size of it is
amazing. Boom. Lever Live. Links in the description if you want one. I saw someone come from this
direction, so I'm gonna go with that we're going this direction. I don't know. Oh no, I'm wearing
the wrong shoes. He's gonna get muddy. Oh well, we're just gonna have to sacrifice it. Look how pretty it is.
Wow, that's great. Okay, let's go. This looks interesting. Let's go this way. Guys,
I fucked up so much. It's freezing. Oh, it's so cold. Oh ----. My eyes are watering.
This is nice and dark. Definitely not scary at all. That's fine.
It's freezing. The wind is like so bitter. It's like making my head spin. I should have worn ear
muffs. I didn't think it was gonna be this cold. I don't know. I've been walking for like 45 minutes
maybe. Coming up to an hour. So it's time for my pretzel. So excited. Look at that bad boy.
So good. I'll show my current perspective because it's nice.
No wonder why it's freezing. That cloud is just there. We're very high up.
I forgot we're so high up. It's cold. The people who woke me up at like 4am this morning
definitely made this pretzel. They made it a great job. Okay, now let's go. Oh my gosh, that's
terrifying. Just a well. Just instant death right there. Love that. ------- mud. Shit.
Oh no, my shoes are wrecked. Damn. No, these are my nice trainers. No. Oh, why was I singing
Frozen? What a dumb thing to do. Okay, we're back at Gloria. Luckily it didn't rain by some miracle
but my shoes are so muddy right now and it's stressing me out.
So let's go back to the end of the clover field.
Oh, this is just so charming. How is it even possible to get this much mud stuck under my
shoe in about three seconds? Literally within three seconds this much ---- got on my shoe.
I don't know what happened. Oh, that'll do for the moment.
So green. Love it. Oh, cosy. So cosy. I think I'm probably gonna stay here tonight. There's another
campervan so as long as there's another one I don't really... Actually, I used to stay anywhere
and everywhere and now I'm more discerning because I got wiser and there's another campervan there
with another lone female so I'm saying I'm gonna stay here.
Okay, we're moving. Apparently there's like gonna be rainstorms so
we're gonna go. I don't know if this other person's leaving but... All right, we're gonna go.
Oh, ****. My chandelier didn't take it down. Oh, damn it.
Okay, so we're gonna go to a nearby town which is very exciting because, yeah,
it was getting cold up here. Great. Okay, that coffee machine is just fucked now.
So like the ambulance thing that just came up here, which I guess is going to the same place
I just went to, is going so fast. Literally had to brake so hard. My coffee machine is just
absolutely fully smashed now. That's fully done. There's no coming back from that.
Thank you. Cause another emergency.
I'm actually so stupid. I've just been driving and planning my whole day around rush hour. I
always do it. I'm like, okay, it's like five. I don't want to be driving anywhere. So I planned
it all out and right now it's five and I'm like, okay, I need to hurry up and park somewhere.
It's a Saturday. It's a Saturday but I don't know what day of the week it is, do I? I never know.
But I forgot to check and it's a Saturday. So my whole day's fear has been for nothing.
It's meant nothing because it's the wrong day. I do this all the time. I literally never know what
day of the week it is. I don't even know what month it is half the time. I'm just, you know,
I'm just existing. I don't like days of the week. I don't like time. So I don't live by it.
It's not very practical because you end up in situations like this. Okay, it's fine. Let's go
park. Oh ----, I can't make it through that. Oh my actually, there's a tree in the way.
Oh my god, that was terrifying. How can they just put, what is the point? Right, okay.
Loki looks like Paris right now. I am living for this. I have literally no idea where to find a
car park but we're just gonna keep circling until we do. Ah, here we'll do. Oh my god,
what is the point? Oh my god. Oh, so kind. Left van people one tiny space.
Right, I'm bored. We're gonna go walk into the city. We're going in. I don't want to stay.
Okay, let's try walk in. I'm like fully, I'm wearing this hat purely to stop the rain
ruining my life because it's like, it's already so hot but we came here. I can't give up now.
What does that show the world if I give up? So we're gonna keep going, okay?
Oh god, it's raining so much. Upon reflection, I should have just stayed in the van.
I should have just stayed in the van.
I've entered like five different timelines today. This one's my favorite, minus the rain.
I love it. Shopping, people, lights. I feel so good right now,
minus I look like an abstract Willy Wonka so let's just ignore that.
So cinematic, thank you.
My brain is like lit up, lit the f**k up right now.
I'm going into cinema mode. There's people, there are rain, there are umbrellas. It is pure cinema
here right now. Loving it. Just wish I wasn't freezing and also wish I wasn't having crippling
anxiety at the thought of having left the hob on in my van. But other than that, doing 11 out of 10.
Not being dramatic, this is the worst decision of my life. Everywhere is packed. I'm like in a
corner, I have a coffee, my sleeves are wet, I've gone through two jumpers, my gloves have become
a screen wipe. Everyone is my age and I don't like it because I'm not used to it,
but I also kind of like it but now I just feel really weird about life. But I do have a cookie
so life's great. I want to cry, I'm gonna have to put my stuff back on to go back to the van.
On the bright side, my hair has actually sort of done something kind of nice because it was in a
really big issue situation earlier so now it's kind of like mellowed out so pretty happy overall
to be honest. Just a toll way outside. Why did I do it? Dumbass. Dumbass. So I'm gonna lap it in
and then we're gonna go back to the van because I can't stand another minute of being outside.
I'm scared to go back outside to be honest and all my clothes are wet so that's great.
I'm gonna move slightly further up there because the car park is open and it realises
that I've never been soaked. I'm so wet. My coat is like water, the whole thing, both sides
soaked through. My shoes, so wet. Why did I do that? Why would I go out in the pouring rain?
You know what? Actually, why wouldn't I go out in the pouring rain? I do that kind of
----. I don't know why. Alright, thanks so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed this vlog.
It's been very multi-dimensional. We've done everything really to be honest.
Thanks for watching. Subscribe if you want to see some more videos and yeah,
hope you have a great week. Lots of love. Wish me luck in the rain!
