Ocean City, Maryland's Boardwalk.
All right, welcome back to the channel.
Guess where I'm at today?
Ocean City, Maryland, for the top 15 things
you gotta do when you're in Ocean City.
15 things on the boardwalk that way.
Oh, look right here.
A couple on my list are in the same building.
Which one is number one?
Oh, I got entertainment on this boardwalk.
360 at number 15.
This way.
Let's get started with number 15 on my list.
Right past Ripley's, believe it or not.
And yeah, you can ride a bike out here.
It's the fishing pier because you can go out here,
dolphin watch, fish.
And you talk about the best view of the boardwalk
down the coast.
It's only $1 general admission.
OC Fishing Pier.
Rent some fishing rods.
See, I just paid a dollar to come out here.
You see all the people, the locks that are people putting out?
But they got some tables.
I'll tell you one thing, this is nice.
I guess they're called love locks.
I don't know what you do with these.
I guess you put your initials or something on them.
There's the boardwalk.
We gotta get on to the next.
This is as far as you can go.
This is where you'll see people fish.
Oh my God, look at all these locks.
That's a lot of iron hanging.
Look at this little guy.
How you doing, buddy?
That's the inlet over there.
You gotta go out, walk out that far.
You can see the life-saving station.
And make sure you're walking all the way up
to what I consider the starting point of this boardwalk.
It's the inlet.
Up here you can watch the boats go by.
They got this great museum over here.
It's called the life-saving station
if you've never been in it.
See that little island there right past that boat that's going?
That is Assateague Island.
That's another thing.
Watch one of my videos.
I do a video on the best things to do
in all of Ocean City.
And I know that one's on the list.
See the wild horses.
If you're coming down over the summertime,
they got a great white marlin tournament here.
It's one of the biggest in the world.
Fantastic day today.
This place will be crowded very soon.
You can find anything along this boardwalk.
Like this.
It's butter.
Squishy.
And cheese.
There's no shortage of pizza places in Ocean City.
There's Piazzano's.
I've tried that one.
But one that's on my list is up here.
Alright, there it is.
Number 14 on my list.
Dough Roller Pizza.
This used to be number one
because I still think quality and taste-wise
they have the best pizza.
And management.
Get the big New Jersey slice pizza slices here.
You will have a line out and down the boardwalk.
Hi, can I get a slice of cheese?
Is that for you, honey?
Yeah.
That's $5.05.
There you go.
That's dough roller pizza.
Look at that grease.
That's from the cheese.
I don't think I'm doing very good with the camera.
Who cares?
It's pizza.
The crust is really crunchy.
I love the crunchy crust.
Oh, God.
I got it on your shirt.
What?
You did.
Did I?
Yes.
It's the wind.
It's blowing.
That's number 14.
This used to be a number one.
Get big slices dough roller.
This would be over the top.
On to the next.
All right.
Right next to dough rollers is Love's.
If you want a funnel cake, this is the best place on the boardwalk.
Another thing that's really nice here is along this boardwalk is the sitting area.
All these benches that are facing the ocean.
And you can sit here and just watch the waves go by.
There we are.
Our Somerset Plaza.
There it is.
Dolly's since 1910.
Saltwater taffy.
See all the history here.
Dolly's since 1910.
All right.
Right here it is.
Number 13 on the list.
It's Dolly's popcorn, candy apples, and saltwater taffy.
Look at these apples right here.
They look incredible, don't they?
There's all their different flavors of saltwater taffy.
Here you can take a bucket or a bag and fill up with any of your favorite flavors.
Saltwater taffy is a staple in Ocean City, Maryland.
Don't miss Dolly's.
Get some taffy at the beach.
All right.
Number 12 on the list is out here.
It is Jolly Rogers.
Wait until you see all the rides they got out here.
Oh, man, that's cool.
A little fish in a pond game.
There's all kinds of rides out this way.
There's the Haunted Motel.
There's no shortage of games in this place.
Now, also, if you want more rides, Stripper Rides also has a big complex.
Right around 30th Street in Ocean City, Maryland.
It's got a water park.
Oh, my God, look at this.
It's a little claw.
All right.
Number 11 on my list.
You know this was going to be on there because they got a milkshake, peanut butter fudge
that I get every time.
See all the flavors back here they got.
You got to get the peanut butter fudge at Dumpster.
These are the nicest ladies I think I ever met in Ocean City.
Welcome to Dumpster, Maryland.
They're from Thailand.
Yeah.
Thank you.
All right.
She got her dip cone dipped in peanut butter.
Thank you.
Oh, that looks pretty good.
Go ahead, honey.
Taste that peanut butter dip cone.
You're going to love it.
Is it real peanut buttery?
It's so good.
You have to have some.
And yes, Dumpster's has been around since 1939.
Now, if you want additional ideas when you're down here in Ocean City, Maryland that might
not be boardwalk related, check out our Viator store.
I got all kinds of tours through Viator that you can do down here in Ocean City, Maryland.
It's a one-stop shop.
It's where we book all our tours, no matter if it's a cruise, a boardwalk, or whatever.
All right, number 10 on my list is right up here.
It probably has the best breakfast on this boardwalk.
There it is, home of the Big Biscuit.
And the thing about shenanigans is they got the best view of the ocean.
Wait till you see these biscuits.
Holy crap, look at that biscuit.
It feels like it weighs a two pound.
Gotta look in this store.
There's the Sugar Planet.
You want candy, you gotta go in this place.
Check out the Sugar Planet inside.
This is a bonus, right around Fifth Street.
Number nine on the list has got to be shopping on this boardwalk.
There is no shortage of shopping in Ocean City, Maryland.
Mish Mash Wild & Wacky Boutique, that's a new store.
See what I mean about all the shopping?
Anything and anything you could want.
It's early in the morning.
All these places, most of these places are open.
Here's one of my dad's favorites, Polack Johnny's.
I've already found some.
I like that color.
All right, there it is, Souvenir City.
It's all the way up at the inlet.
It's one of my favorite stores in Ocean City
because they have more stuff than you could ever look at in this place.
No shortage of shopping stores in Ocean City.
That's why it's number nine on my list.
Right there, is this place here?
You're looking for something unique?
Get us off Shell Crab Sandwich.
All right, Walkin' Fuss Candy.
I did this in a couple of my videos.
It's not on my list, but it's been open since 1915.
You've got to come here if you're a candy lover.
They've got candy apples and fudge and all kinds of candy.
Back here in the back is the saltwater taffy.
There it is, the famous Ripley's.
Believe it or not, you've got to do this.
All right, there it is, number eight on the list.
I know a lot of you have been to this if you've watched some of my other videos.
Ripley's, believe it or not.
All right, this is the main area here.
Oh, my God, there's Elmo next to Ripley's.
Believe it or not, right next to Dolly's and across the way
is the world-famous Thrasher's French Fry.
Check out the incredible Hulk and the three-ton tire.
Yeah, this is a photo opportunity.
That's the entrance right here.
You found the gorilla.
You found Ripley's, believe it or not.
And this guy makes the most beautiful artwork right on the beach.
We bought two of these last time.
All right, here it is, number seven on my list.
This is Fun City, but there's many arcades along this boardwalk.
Now, why are arcades on my list?
Number one is because there are so many along this boardwalk.
But number two, if you get a rainy day, it gives you something to do.
Stay dry, stay in the cool when it's hot out, and it's just so relaxing.
And trust me, your kids will love it.
Here's another one, Sportsland.
It's right across from Thrasher's.
Like I said, there's many arcades on this boardwalk.
Rainy day, that's what I saved this for.
Look at all these games.
They got claw games.
Wait till you see all the prizes you can win in the back here.
That's a lot of prizes you can win.
Oh, my goodness.
Wow.
Goes all the way to the top of all the arcades.
I think Sportland is my favorite
because it's really right down close to where all the action is.
Right beside Sportsland is Playland.
Your kids will love these places.
Trust me on that.
I love the sand sculptures in Ocean City, Maryland.
There he is, Jesus himself, right on the water.
Here it is.
This is number six on the list.
If you like caramel popcorn, there is no better than Fishers.
Check out all the flavors.
And, yes, you can get boxes, tubs.
A lot of people take this stuff home.
This is what it's all about.
How is that?
It's so good.
I love it.
Here it is, number four on the list.
It's number four on my list
because they got very old classic rides in here.
Here's the whip I'll show you.
Over here is one of the oldest carousels in America.
Right here.
Look at this old, old kiddie Ferris wheel.
It's a classic.
And then you walk outside and there's many more rides.
This park's got everything.
Trimper rides because of all the classics.
There's a classic ride right there.
I've been on these when I was about five years old.
This is kind of like a new section over here.
Check out the Magnum ride.
Check this ride out.
It's a new attraction here in Ocean City.
My wife's in the coffin.
All right, there it is, number four on the list.
The Haunted Mansion.
It's a dark ride built in 1964.
And they added this second level here for more fun.
It's a dark ride.
See, there it is, the Haunted House.
It's a five-minute dark ride.
Thrilling scenes, illusions.
It's a lot better than I remember when I was a kid.
Oh, this is pretty cool.
Oh, this is cool.
Oh, God!
Look, you come out to the top.
Oh, we're going downhill.
This is a long little ride.
That was totally awesome.
I loved it.
Dark Ride Ocean City, Maryland.
One thing that's cool about this Haunted House,
you go right next door,
they got an awesome gift store in here.
I'm just going to show you.
Anything scary is in this place.
Like this guy, look at all the t-shirts.
There's my wife scoping out something.
Who's that, honey?
I think it's Chewbacca. Is that his name?
Yeah, that's it, Chewy.
There's a shark on the ceiling.
That was an awesome ride, buddy.
These big bikes you can rent.
Big gyms down this way.
This is what you want in Ocean City.
Rent a bike, one of these limo bikes.
Alright, number three on the list.
You got to rent a bike on this boardwalk.
It's like two and a half miles.
And you can go from one end to the other.
It's the best way to see the ocean
and the boardwalk in one shot.
Maybe you rent one of these.
They're little scooters, they're cool.
But the bikes are the way to go, I think.
Alright, if you want crabs,
maybe this Mug and Mallet is the place to come.
But what I see up here,
not only the bike rentals,
but this ocean gallery.
I see something I've never seen before.
We come here all the time.
I've never seen the truck up on top of the place.
That's got to be new.
If you're into art,
you've got to go in this store.
I promise you, you've never seen
so much art in your life.
It's famous.
This is what this gallery looks like inside.
It just goes on and on and on.
Look how big all this stuff here.
Stuff goes all the way up them steps.
That's where my wife is right now.
It's right on Second Street.
Free to take photos.
Number two on the list has got to be the beach.
It's one of the best beaches on the East Coast.
I promise you, it's extra wide.
They've got tractors that come up
and clean it all the time.
It's a beautiful beach.
Get here. It's number two.
Do you see why this is number two on my list?
This wide beach?
Get thousands out here.
And a tip.
The farther you go up,
the less crowded it'll be.
If you're going to the beach right off the boardwalk,
that's the busiest spot.
But there's plenty of seats for everybody.
And bonus, there is no better place
to have a cup of coffee
and watch the sun come up.
Because when you're on the East Coast of Ocean City,
you will see the sunrise.
Sunset would be that way.
See how wide this beach is?
And they keep it clean all day long.
You'll see these tractors up and down this beach.
Now you know it's early.
There's no line.
But this one's on my list.
Alright, number one on the list.
It's time, it's time.
You gotta get a Thrasher's French Fry right here.
And that's what you come for right there.
And you gotta put some vinegar on.
And some salt.
How's that, sis?
Hey, I came all the way from California for these.
They are wonderful.
Thrasher's French Fry with vinegar.
And you know, you can get them in ice cream, too.
Oh, yeah. That's bigger than your head.
Laura had to get her cotton candy.
