4 Days in PARIS: New Year’s Eve, Museums, lots of food & Snow | Travel vlog

Happy New Year! Hello everyone, I'm on my way to Paris for New Year's Eve. So exciting! I'm going to meet with my friend Lotta and we're going to spend there 4 days. So, yeah, let's go! I just landed in Paris, luckily Lotta has landed at the same time as me. So we already met and now we're heading to Paris. This is our first lunch in Paris. We put down our luggage at the hotel and we wanted to find some food because we haven't eaten. And it's 3pm, right? Not 4, maybe. I don't know. But we didn't find anything open and we ended up with this. But we're going to eat something better at dinner, right? We're in this park that is basically behind our hotel. And it's actually very nice. Which is in Bercy, but it's very nice if you come here. I feel like this is a little bit less known as a park, so less crowded and very nice. Now we're also hearing music and we don't understand where it's coming from. We finally left the hotel. Lotta woke up. She was tired because she woke up very early in the morning to catch the flight. So she slept a little bit. Because today is the 31st, so we have at least to make it until... The midnight. A little bit past midnight. 10 past midnight. Yeah, 10 past midnight. So now we're going towards the Louvre. And I don't know, we see if something is open and look around. And then eat. We're on the Seine. I'm in Paris! We're trying to be aesthetic, cute, etc. But we can't. Five minutes ago we were in the middle of a highway, basically. Walking on a bicycle lane next to a highway. Yeah, we found ourselves there. Actually we knew from the start that we went for it. Yes. And it wasn't good. We wanted the view, but it wasn't worth it. No. There was no view. Absolutely no view. We tried, but now we are... Sur la Seine. We're going to the Louvre. Now we are going to eat. I found a place where they make French food but you cannot reserve like a place there so we are going there to see if there is any space. Yeah, I don't know if we are lucky enough but we'll see. I'm going to the toilet. And to your left. We are ready. We bought a little wine just to cheer at midnight. Happy New Year! Good morning and Happy New Year! We just finished our breakfast and actually we have been already in Paris quite a few times so we are not going to do touristy things besides a few museums that I want to see like the Musée de l'Orangerie which I've never seen. Every store is closed because it is the 1st of January so today is going to be museum day. We changed our plans because at first we wanted to visit the museum tomorrow and today do some shopping but of course it's the 1st of January. While we were going to the Champs-Élysées we found these little stores with Japanese desserts. Basically we are eating everything besides French food. But look! I needed to try. I've never tried this type of dessert so I'm curious. But I swear we'll be also eating macarons. Not much today because at the end of the day we haven't done much. We stayed in line to enter in the museum for 2 hours and then we stayed inside the museum for 2 hours. The museum was very nice but staying in line with that cold for 2 hours was very challenging. Now we have eaten a burger and we are going to end the day with a crêpe. Very important. We are going to have breakfast at Bohème. It is a place that I found on TikTok like all the other places and restaurants. We saw the photos and it should be good. And now we can start the shopping. We are here and we want to go to Fleux. We are going to stay in this area today at least in the morning. We have one with pistachio and one with passion fruit. I still think we will try later also Ladurée but I already know that it's better than this one. Because I also wanted to take home 4 macarons. I will do that in Ladurée. Istanbul! Today we are finding queues everywhere. It's like being in an amusement park. And also I am not really able to speak English anymore today. My brain is in confusion. Total confusion. We went to Galerie Lafayette and there it was full. And also because we saved all places that we found on TikTok. So of course many people know them and not just us. And so each place is with a lot of people. Lotta bought a croissant with a cookie. With cookie inside basically. It is from Maison Louvarde. It's here. She says that it's good. So if you want to come here, it's recommended. I don't remember if I showed you that we went to Cedric Rollet. I still haven't tried it because I bought one for my sister. That was the beignet au chocolat. And one with vanilla. That was for me but I'm going to try it later. And the people that were serving us were so annoyed by us. But by everyone there, not just by us. But I don't know why because they didn't have many people there. There was a security guard that was letting people enter basically one at a time. So it was not that there were a lot of people. So they were stressed. They were just rude. Yeah, I didn't want to say rude. They were a bit rude. You do not expect that from a bit of that kind of place. Or maybe you do. I don't know. And then right now we just left from... What was the name? Maison... This one. We also found that from TikTok. And honestly, we were not expecting those prices. The products were very nice, of course. They were very beautiful, everything. But the prices were quite high. So we just bought just one thing. Just for us. We just came out of the hotel. And it is snowing! But I'm here with a Finnish. And she is just... Not impressed. Not excited, not impressed. I don't know what to say. It actually stopped snowing. But there is still some snow on the ground. We tried filming a few TikToks. It was extremely awkward. But we are hoping for a good ending result.
