We Found Incredible Vintage Bargains Today
PRINCETON
One of the biggest and busiest antique hunts we’ve seen in years leads to unbelievable prices, hidden treasures, and a packed carload of vintage finds.
Collector’s Carnival in Princeton, Indiana seems larger and more crowded than ever as we pull into the fairgrounds and begin another day of buying, promoting upcoming antique shows, and meeting viewers. A friend at the show helps us start strong with a beautiful MCM Japanese woodblock print at a great price before we head outside, where rows of vintage sellers fill the grounds with everything from farm primitives and vintage electronics to jewelry, art pottery, and forgotten collectibles fresh from attics and basements.
The bargains keep appearing as we search barn after barn and building after building. We uncover a 1920s thread cabinet, an elegant 1910s purse, a world clock, cocktail shaker, military flashlight, MCM mobile, and Coro brutalist brooch at prices that feel almost impossible today. Along the way, we find uranium glass by Tiffin, paper ephemera tied to favorite cars and sports heroes, Disney collectibles, coins, Watt and Uhl pottery, and a Seminole doll we’re bringing back to Florida.
By the end of the day, the car is full and there’s still more to share before we continue to the next big events at Tique Stock in Michigan and the Springfield, Ohio extravaganza. From beautiful antiques and vintage décor to overlooked collectibles and unexpected deals, this hunt delivers constant discoveries for anyone who loves the thrill of the search.
