So that's my buddy Gabe's dog Fancy. Yeah and Fancy and Scooter well they get along
pretty good. So today I see you there stretching out buddy stretching out. So
today I am going to take a ride to the pig trail and I'm gonna leave these two
sit here and be dogs. The pig trail is one of the top 10 rated rides in all of
America and today I am going to show you why. So it's not every day I get to ride
my bike without all the gear on. Handles completely different without all that
weight on it. And running up into these twisties I think it's gonna be a fun
fun ride. Looks a little different. She's not not the same bike without all the
gear on. This should be fun.
So we are in a little town called West Fork which is just south of Fayetteville.
This is a really cool area because it's right by the Devil's Den State Park. You
can see probably can't tell but that little sign over there says 17 miles.
Through some beautiful curvy roads it's highway 170 west. I've often talked about
wanting to build a campground like a biker resort and I think in this Devil
Den pig trail area would be really awesome. So I'm actually gonna stop and
look at a couple pieces of property today. Just to look at them see what's
what. Because I just I really do love this area.
This is the Why Not Cafe in West Fork and every time I come through this area
this is one of the places I absolutely stop and get a bite to eat. The food's
just so good and it's just I don't know it's just one of those things I stop here
every time. All right let's go. Oh no they won't return till 5 30 or 6 they're
closed. Oh man I have been waiting all day to eat here. Now I gotta find
somewhere else to eat. So we're gonna try this little place here. It's called the
Sugar Shack. Sometimes you find the best food in these little hole in the walls.
Good how you doing? Thanks man. All right yeah man. We went with the
Double Cheeseburger. All right we're gonna check this place out see if this
food is any good. I can tell you this burger is heavy. I normally don't eat
like this but man sometimes when you're on the road you just gotta splurge with
the local flavors. And I was gonna go with this little sandwich shop over
there but they were closed. Called Sugar Shack. They got our business today. That
is a good burger. Yeah Sugar Shack you boys are doing it right. I will be
coming back. We are getting down into the thick of it now. We're at the Pig
Trail Bypass Country Cafe. It says gas, groceries, and ice.
So I'm in a little town called Combs. I guess I'm about nine miles from the Pig
Trail. They said take the east nine more miles on 16 and then I'm gonna get on I
believe what he said is 23. Should be a good ride. I'm excited to show it all to
you. This is the coolest little country store right here. They're here in Combs. You'll have to
come check them out.
So this is it. The Pig Trail Scenic Byway. Let's take it for a run.
No more do we start the Pig Trail and look at acreage for sale on the actual
Pig Trail. Already got a nice driveway off of here and it's actually kind of
flat. This would make an amazing camp. How many acres and how much. There's water
frontage back there. Apparently they don't want us to go in there. But I
desperately need to see if there's water back behind where that line looks
like it falls off. I'm sure it'll be okay. Right there. Thought that might be water
down there. I'm listening. I don't hear any. But I'm gonna get back and look on
Google Maps and check this place out. I'm sure it's probably too good to be true.
It's probably a fortune and something I'd never be able to get. I do like to
dream and this is a nice dream.
This is amazing. Look at this view. Now I know the camera doesn't do that justice
but I'm telling you that out there is beautiful. This is something I love about
my motorcycle. Just all the amazing places it brings me. Look at this.
Absolutely gorgeous. And you can see down in there the road just winds. The road
just winds through these ranges. Unreal. Now I do have to admit after last time
this makes me a little bit nervous but we're gonna go ahead and get a bird's
eye view with the drone of the amazing pig trail.
Well I have made it to Walmart. Back up here in the Springdale Fayetteville area.
Connecting back with my buddy Gabe. I think it's gonna be our last night together
here so we are gonna do a little cooking out. We're here at Walmart gonna get some
food. We're gonna go to this house and we are going to feast. Break some bread
before I move on to Lord knows where. Why is there no sign on this Walmart? It's
kind of tripping me out. You got some good food there Gabe? Got some steaks. Steaks what's for
dinner. You fit all that in your saddlebags? You want me to grab ones? And we are out of
here. Alright we are cooking up some steaks, some good company, some good food
before we hit the road again. I want to thank everybody for joining along on the
ride today. If you enjoyed anything today please hit that thumbs up and give us a
share off to Facebook and other social medias. That helps us spread the word so much. From
myself, my buddy Gabe, Scooter, and where's Fancy? What are you doing over there Fancy?
Fancy! Come on boy. And Fancy. We will talk to y'all later.
