Driving One of the Most Legendary 4x4 Trails

Some Alps off road trails are never forgotten.

High in the Italian Alps, we drive one of the most legendary alpine 4x4 tracks.
A historic route once used by smugglers, climbing through century-old tunnels, exposed ridgelines and endless hairpin turns.
The higher we go, the closer the snow gets.
Weather can change in minutes up here. Fog, rain, steep drop-offs… this trail demands full attention.
For Paulo, this road is special.
He first drove it almost 30 years ago when his off-road journey began.
Today we return with our Land Rover Defender, pushing higher than ever before.
And tonight… bivouac in the land of cows, with one simple question:
