The pompadour is a hairstyle named after Madame de Pompadour. She was the mistress of King Louis XV of France in the 1700s. However, most people today refer to the pompadour as a men’s short hairstyle with the hair back and extra volume on the top. The modern version of the pomp is considered a classic throwback and was made popular by Elvis Presley. This vintage style exudes class and masculinity. While this cut and style has the same general look, there are still a variety of ways to cut and wear this style to fit both your hair texture and your personality. Browse our extensive collection of the most popular men’s pompadour haircuts and hairstyles to find your next look
A taper fade – often referred to as a taper – differs from a classic fade in several ways. Both involve gradually cutting the side and back of the hair short while leaving the top section longer. However, a taper fade is cut shorter and can result in fading down to the skin at any point. We have rounded up many different types of fade haircuts to help you figure out which style will suit you best.
So I worked at PF Chains back in Oklahoma, so I've worked with them before and I actually
haven't gotten the job yet, but you know, I know I'm gonna get it, so I'm not worried about it.
Yeah, they don't have any reason not to hire me since I worked for them and I know the menu.
No, I'm actually in between JAWS because I'm studying for my GED,
but I just need something part-time to get me by.
Oh, before this, you know, I was honestly just doing, I was in the gig economy, so like Uber,
DoorDash, Postmates before that stuff. What is Postmates? It's basically the same thing as Uber,
but it got acquired by Uber, so I had to switch my employer back then when that happened, but
that's all right. And then before that, just a lot of customer service jobs, you know.
I really want to get into building though. Building what? Building sustainable homes,
like with natural and upcycled recycled materials. Oh wow. Houses that grow their own food.
Yeah, create their own electricity, collect rainwater and filter it, stuff like that.
Because if you can put all the tools to your survival in your household, then
you're basically living for free. Yeah, because Elon Musk is doing a house that I think is like
$30,000 and it's like real cheap or whatever. Oh yeah. It's a bit, it's an electric house,
solar powered type.
Awesome. Yeah, Elon Musk wants to leave us behind on Earth though.
I'm going to go to Mars. It's like that is, it's like, yeah. You believe in aliens? Yeah.
I mean, I don't know about aliens, but I mean, I just, you know, unidentified, you know,
who knows what's out there. I mean, there could be anything. If the universe is as big as they
say it is, I find it hard to believe there's not anything else out there. Yeah, I agree with you.
That's the part that I agree with. That's where I'm like, I'm kind of the same way. That's where
I kind of can't just dismiss it because, you know. Okay, so I will tell you a fun fact though,
is that nothing's ever been seen leaving the atmosphere or entering the atmosphere
because of any identified plane objects. Yeah, but there has been photos of, you know,
---- that's here already. Yeah, I honestly think that they've been here for a long more,
for a long, much longer time than at least we think we've been here. I think we've been here
for longer than we think we've been here, although of course you can't prove that.
Shit, you've only been here what, 20 something years? And it's like, god damn. Well, ---- man,
this is like the age of freaking Aquarius. We're going through a lot of changes. Wait,
so what does that mean? So the age of Aquarius, we were previously in an age where
fear and anger were dominant emotions. And so the age of Aquarius is more about
us coming together and understanding our true divinity and in our oneness with each other.
And it's really all about coming together in unity. Well, what's happening over here in
Russia? Well, that's the thing. See, enlightenment isn't all sunshines and butterflies. It *******
sucks sometimes, but it's not going to be like, you know, enlightenment isn't going to be like
feeling like, you know, you suddenly become good or you suddenly stop suffering. It's nothing like
that, I don't think. I think it's like, it's all this stuff in Russia. It's just, you know,
dying death throes of the ruling elite, I feel like. What do you think will happen?
What do I think will happen? Yeah, that's a pretty big question. I mean,
I wish Putin would have evacuated those towns rather than invading, but that's obviously out
of the question now. But I think he's trying to stand up to the World Economic Forum. I saw Putin
denouncing the World Economic Forum. I think it really just depends, because Germany canceled
that pipeline after Russia invaded, which means a lot of different things, because that pipeline
was really a start of increased trade and relations between Russia and Germany, which
would have been a threat to U.S. hegemony and Europe. Yeah.
Yeah, this is going to look way better in March. You're going to be at home. That's why I wanted
this moment. That's why I come here, man. I appreciate it. How did you first find out
about this place? You know, I was just tired of going to super cuts and places that weren't,
like, I went to this barbershop, which was marketed towards old dudes, which is, you know,
it's fine. Old dudes got to get a haircut. But I wanted something that was more in line with my
vibe, you know? And so I just started searching online and I saw Sermon Salon. I said, well,
that sounds pretty hip, you know? Oh, I appreciate that. I can't wait to see this.
And then I came in and saw your shop here and I was like, hell yeah.
Oh, yeah, definitely, man. I mean, you're really presentable. You're nice on,
you know, on the outside and the walls in here. I mean, it's plenty of things to look at. You're
not bored at any time when you're getting a haircut in here. Oh, nice. Oh, yeah. I appreciate
that. Yeah. That's good to know. And it's easy to talk to you, too, which is always nice.
Yeah, one big thing that kind of has been upsetting me is how
I've been seeing all this media coverage of the Ukraine situation. And, you know, the general
consensus is like how awful it is that Ukraine is being invaded. And I agree war is not nice
at all. It's ******* awful. But where were all these people saying these things whenever
the U.S. was invading at least seven other countries of brown skin people?
Oh, that's a good point. And in Syria, there's been 500,000 casualties from the civil war there
that we're actively involved in. No one's reporting on that. Yeah, man. So there's a
lot of ---- going on. Oh, yeah. Pretty heavy stuff. It's hard to trust the reporting because
they want to report. Yeah. You know, it's not real news. Yeah. And majority of all the media
is it's all controlled by a few corruption, by by a few
corporations. BlackRock is one of them. It's really hard to figure out what the hell is
going on today. You don't know what to believe. And everyone's like censoring everyone.
Even it's even happening happening to doctors. Wait, what's happening to doctors?
They're being censored and de-platformed for for talking about for spreading truths.
I won't I don't want to get too far into that, though, because it's pretty controversial.
I don't mind. OK, well, I mean, I don't. It's like, hey, yeah.
Well, let's see where to even begin with all of that. There's
doctors that are trying to spread their real experiences with treating covid and
they're being censored and de-platformed. I've known several doctors on TikTok who
got their TikToks deleted after they tried to spread what they know about covid.
And as long as if it's anything other than the the main guidelines, yeah, it's they get
they get they're putting their jobs on the line whenever they go and talk about it.
And so there's a lot of incentive for doctors to not talk about it and just to let it pass.
But.
Oh, yeah, me too.
Yeah, screw the mask, man. They don't.
They don't they don't even protect you from the virus. It's been proven.
CDC is a piece of cotton shirt that you have wrapped around your.
Yeah, it's like mother's hair.
Those N95 masks apparently work better, but I don't know about that.
I mean, unless you're in a gas mask and a full on suit, it's like it doesn't make a difference.
And my thing is, it's like kind of I had the rule of words like,
hey, if you want to wear a mask, wear a mask. If you don't want to wear a mask, don't wear a mask.
I see people else. Well, the thing is, I see people like walking along the sidewalk
wearing a mask or they're in the car by themselves and they're wearing a mask.
You want to wear a mask, put a mask on. It's like you don't want to wear a mask.
Don't wear a mask. I guess so, man.
But I mean, I, you know, I don't get it.
It's like what's weird to me is you can walk into a bank with a mask on.
It's like and that's they wonder why all these robberies are happening.
And so, you know, everyone's in a mask. It's like, holy mask.
It's like so-and-so is going to keep their mask on for a little bit longer.
And it's like, OK, yeah, becoming a little part of our identities.
You know, I'm so used to wearing it that I it's like, mother God.
Well, guess what? I'm used to jail, but I ain't eating the food anymore.
It's like, ----, I don't, you know, it's like, go down.
Oh, well, it's kind of like you want to wear a mask or a mask.
You don't want to wear one. Don't worry.
Yeah, I'm I carry one around me just in case I prefer to see you.
Yeah, it's like, but if you, you know, if you're you want to wear a mask, put a mask on.
It's like for a while I was just carrying one around because I know that, you know,
someone asked me to put one on in a business.
They can kick me out if they wanted to.
There was a big old sign at R.E.I. and everything.
And I think they're kind of a little bit racist and everything.
There is a sign over there that said, you must have a mask on this and that.
And then to, you know, people that looked like very law enforcement,
almost individuals walked right in with no mask on, walked right in.
And it was like not one word.
It was you just you walked right around.
And it was so it's like, why I don't get this sign.
Yeah, well, it was like, you know, it's like it's all well, just depends who you are.
Yeah, we didn't enforce that rule at the at the last place I worked.
Well, I didn't understand the restaurant thing.
It's like, oh, you come into a restaurant and it's like it's like everyone's your mask is on.
And then it's like you hit the table and it's like a mask off.
And it's like it's like, you know, mask on, mask off.
It's either you have it on or you have it off.
And having it on really isn't going to do anything, but we'll pretend it does.
And we'll just pick one.
It's like it's literally it doesn't it does do something,
but it's not for the things that they're saying it's for.
It's to enforce control and just make it make us easier.
When we're putting up with it day after day,
we're getting used to it and we're becoming accustomed to it.
And the thing is, these masks actually have an impact on our mental
on our on the mental side of our of how we view ourselves,
especially on kids, because kids learn from watching our faces and our emotions.
And they they learn from that and they grow and learn from,
you know, seeing the joy, the anger on our written on our faces.
When you cover that with a mask, you get developmental impairment.
It's just weird.
Like I'm all about.
I don't want to screw people over, but it's like you're not wearing a real mask.
You're wearing a piece of cotton that your aunt sewed with a bedsheet.
It's like, you know, so this is real.
And I get it if you're just wearing it to stop people from yelling at you.
But if you're wearing it to protect yourself,
you should probably learn a little bit more about it.
Yeah, I don't know who's the lady.
She's like, you don't have your mouth.
Are you the police?
Yeah, exactly.
What does it matter?
It's not a law.
Yeah.
It's like, so who cares?
But, you know, like you had mentioned before, it's more of a,
oh, if it's a business and, you know, like you said,
they can take you out because it's private or whatever.
Yeah.
But it's not.
You can't go to jail for it.
It says no law.
Exactly.
Someone had said before, oh, they'll take you to jail and everything.
And it's like, no, they can't do.
Yeah, not over that.
I saw someone who got so angry over a mask
that they ended up getting too violent.
Yeah, disorderly conduct type of deal, but not over the mask.
Yeah.
As long as you're respectful and you're not in a threatening manner
and you're just not wearing one or whatever,
you really won't go to jail or anything.
Yep.
You can get, oh, but I guess they can trespass you or whatever
if you're on private property.
Yeah, I guess.
And then if they ask you to leave and they have to give you time to leave
and then, you know, if they give you a lot of time to leave,
you don't and they can publicly say that we verbally told them to leave.
Yeah.
And it's been like, oh, let's hear you're going on ******* three years now.
It's like, Jesus.
Yeah, so now they're replacing that entire COVID scheme with the Ukraine.
Notice how pretty much all the COVID stuff and news
has been replaced by Ukraine stuff now.
Well, and did you remember Ebola or whatever
that was around for ******* a month?
Yeah.
-------, and then you never heard about it again.
For sure.
It was like, Jesus.
Oh, yeah.
What happened to all the cold and flu cases since COVID?
Nothing, they don't exist anymore.
They don't ******* exist.
Yeah, they're COVID now.
Oh, my God.
Well, and you know what?
Sorry to say, that's because of funding and everything, too.
You know, people getting, you know, hospitals getting money for it and.
Yep.
Everything else.
Now everything is COVID.
It's like, oh, how did you pass away?
It's like COVID.
Yep.
Trump said it was the common cold or whatever.
It's like a 98 point something percent.
Yeah, between like 97 and 99% survival rate.
Which is what?
As high as the flu, right?
Yeah, the flu is at 0.1%, which is, yeah.
So it's not even that bad.
Nobody ever said, hey, COVID can't kill you.
You know, hey, look, if you're that immune deficient or whatever it is,
and you got to stay home and everything.
Yep.
If you're someone like, I'm just guessing you're pretty healthy because you look healthy.
Yeah.
Someone like you and I, we probably would fight COVID off just fine.
And you know what?
A lot of people had it probably and they were asymptomatic and everything.
Yeah, that and the Omicron variant is a lot less dangerous than the old variants.
Wait, say that again?
This variant of COVID called Omicron.
Yeah.
It's not as dangerous as the Delta variant.
Oh yeah, no, I knew that, yeah.
But it's more transmissible or whatever.
Yeah, something like that.
But it doesn't matter because it's way less, you know, it doesn't do anything.
Yep.
Yeah, but then you're gonna...
And how many boosters we need to...
A thousand.
It's all called the flu down the road because, I mean,
how many variants of the flu are there?
Probably ******* millions.
Probably.
But you don't call out each variant of the flu for some reason.
Yeah.
It's like, oh, it's the flu.
That's because they're not using the flu to try and control the entire world.
This has been a weird time in day and age, dude.
Oh yeah, this is...
It's just been very bizarre.
We're at the center of the universe right now, it feels like.
Hey, that looks excellent, man.
Yeah, that was a total makeover.
You were right about that.
That looks good on you, though.
It does, definitely.
That's, I think, the best haircut you've given me so far.
Hell yeah, I appreciate it.
