Sinner Faces Bergs; Zverev, Fonseca & Bublik Feature | Paris 2025 Day 3 Highlights

Well, he eventually got there. Azizu. Extra heat on that forehand to get it done. Nicely done. Shuts it out well. Azizu Berg's improving as the set went along. How good is that point construction from Sinner? That's too good. Sinner in control of this content. That's good. That's good stuff. Ugo Canabelli. Long it goes. Gets it. Lightning reflexes. Gets the break. Canabelli. Took it on. Ugo Canabelli. And he buckled. With some relief. Alexander Zverev gets it done. A big test though for the defending champion. That's a good volley. Finds the open space. He's kept his cool so well. Double fault. The breakthrough. Nice. Crafted that well. We are going the distance. He's found it. Nails it. That returning quality. It was a good serve. Didn't really move the feet for the forehand. Back on serve here. Victory for Bashirov again. For the second time this month. He gets the better of his cousin. Too big. Too good. There it is. It's taken 19 minutes. Two of the most skillful guys on tour. Oh my goodness me. That is outrageous from Bublik. It's more like a point you'd see in an exhibition. Maybe trying to be a little too cute. This time he got him. Not going to make the same mistake again. Focused and disciplined performance from Alexander Bublik here this evening. Gets the better of Corentin Mutey again. Oh wow. What a beauty to make the breakthrough. Another one long. Impressive opening set of tennis that was. Really nicely done. Massive hold for Fonseca. Has to save four break points there. Fonseca special. The sort of tennis we were watching last week. He's made that. He's rolling again here in Paris. Very good win over last week's Basel champion João Fonseca who had the lion's share of the support out here. At times it felt like we were playing back in Brazil.
