I Tried Making a $25,000 Hermès Kelly Bag… Here’s What Happened

I tried building one of the most iconic luxury bags in the world… the Hermès Kelly.
What looks like a simple, elegant design turned out to be a process full of precision, patience, and unexpected challenges. From hand-stitching every detail to assembling the final structure, this experience changed the way I see luxury craftsmanship.
But after finishing both… I’m still not sure if the Kelly is actually easier than a Birkin — or simply a completely different challenge.
