Summer Grapevine Wreath With Bright Ranunculus Florals and Ficus Leaves |Mom Hive Live (Replay)

All right, so we're gonna do a grapevine tonight. Hey mama. Ouch. Sorry, but it took me about 10 minutes to get this thing working. Okay, let me find my... here we go. So I got some of the um ranunculus from Sims. I love these. It has this uh pink and purple color. Oh, I was gonna grab those. All right, so I got some of these and I can tell you that Craft Outlet has all the colors. So I have the pink and the purple. These are the um you know the leaves we love so much. So I'm gonna take maybe two of each color. I don't I know. Sorry, I had trouble getting on. All right, so we have pink, purple, and yellow in here. So we're going to use the purple and the pink. Okay, then I have um some foxwood and I have beadbush down here and then I have a little bit of fir. Okay, I also have some wildflowers and this is that 60919 stuff they're always having a thing about. So I did have one of these and some other little fir. All right, here we go. Yeah, there's a um there was an update on Nebo and then all of a sudden nothing wanted to work. I swear it's what it's always like. It's what it feels like anyways. Whenever they do an update it's like everything stops. Okay, okay, just trying to get that little clip off. I don't know where this came from. I don't know. It was in my garage. Okay, let's see. Must have come from Michael's. Okay, all right. I really like it though. It's a really nice grapevine. Hey y'all, how are you? So I have these kind of this is filler flower. This will be filler flower. This will be filler and then I had Dawn get me some bee bush. So I'm gonna use some of that. All right, so these they have in all different colors now. They have yellow, red, black, orange, purple, pink. I don't remember seeing blue but in the ficus leaves. I love ficus leaves. So I'm gonna start by cutting the three main branches off. And I know craft outlet sells these in packs of 12. I don't know how everybody else is selling them but they're very reasonable. I wish Sims would get these. I have to talk to him about that because that would be awesome. Okay, I'll go ahead and cut them. I feel like we'll probably use them. All right, okay. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna kind of go around like this here. Just kind of give you a quick little impression of what we're gonna do. Like this. Oh, that's so pretty. I'm gonna kind of work some of this in. Do you see how this kind of works and establishes our line really quickly? So let's go ahead and start filling these in. We're gonna do the half half moon kind of. And I want to leave this piece whole. Kind of put it up towards here. And now I want a pink one up there. Go ahead and put the pink one in like this. All right, let's see. I want to take the long ones. I like these because they're inexpensive. You can get a lot of volume out of them which just makes them totally invaluable. I can't remember how much these were. I feel like they were like seven or eight dollars for 12 of them. So definitely reasonable. Okay, so now we're gonna take some and kind of mix it in so that it's not like purple and pink kind of in chunks. So we'll kind of, oh I put the wrong one in. Let's fix that. Yeah, if you put the wrong one in you want to do it before it's glued in there. Okay, put purple down here. I think these are so fun. Okay, I want a little bit smaller to start putting along the side. And of course we'll use these little ones. I'll cut this off. Hey Dawn! Hey, did y'all see Susan and Dawn's announcement? Y'all did, right? How many of you are coming? I'm going, I'm excited. I'm so excited they're doing them because I know I can't. Not right now. I don't know when I'll be able to do them again. So I wanna, I'm so glad they decided to do it. Okay, just gonna put little ones in here. I'm gonna go on around. I knew I saw one there. Okay, so this is just to start it off. Yay! Madonna, were you first? I bet you were first. Have you already started working on your pirate outfit? I have to find my barmaid and see if I need to alter it because I probably do. So all I'm doing right now is just kind of setting the base. This is the one I pulled out. All right. Oh, look how pretty that is. Now you could just do green. I love the colors though. That really kind of is cool to me. These, not real thrilled about these leaves. Not these anyways. No. So the leaves on this one I'm just gonna cut off. These leaves right here I'm okay with, but these green ones that are like, I don't know, almost like plasticky, I'm just not gonna use those. We're gonna have plenty of greenery anyways, so. And I'll definitely be cutting these off more. I'm just kind of going ahead and getting them kind of broken up a little. Yeah. Dawn and Susan, how's it going so far? Right? Me too. Y'all want to see what the other ones look like? Let me show you. My baby girl. So they've got the orange. How pretty is that? And then black. You know we're gonna be using these. Yay! Red, yellow. So I'm excited. We're gonna have a lot of these. You know the great thing about ficuses, they're super inexpensive, but they're big and they cover a lot. So they're super economical and pretty. How can you not like ficus? I love the focus. Oh let me tell you. So this is from Sims. It's CS12655. And these are really a great price for the ranunculus and they're very pretty. They have it in this one with the pink and the purple and then they have one with pink and yellow and white. That one's really pretty. I think they have I feel like they have something with blue. The ranunculus came from Sims. These came from Craft Outlet because Sims is not carrying the colors and I didn't feel like having to order a whole bunch from Craig Bachman just to get those. So I just ordered them from Craft Outlet. Okay I'm gonna save these because we're gonna do something with those. All right. I'm gonna cut some of my beloved feed bush. Now I'm thinking I should have gotten like 15 cases I have to keep reminding myself that my room is not very big so that I don't go a little bit bananas because I could easily just go bananas. Now that I don't have so much stress I feel creative again. All right so I do want these to be a little bit longer because we do want to see them. So now I'm going to start bringing in green. These smaller ones I'll put kind of in the middle. So you can see I'm going to do the same thing that same shape. Stretch them out some so they fill in well and I'm not going to put so many that I'm going to cover the ficus. We're just going to kind of add on top this. Okay so I'm putting them in and then kind of pulling them out. So the ficus is going to come out like behind that. I cut up three of these. I don't think we'll need more than that. We will see. We may not even need that many. So this green is going to help us fill in and give a base to put our flowers on because we need a little base to put our flowers on. This is pretty already. Just kind of filling in and when you put your stuff on never lay it flat to your base. Always bring it out because that's what's going to make it look first of all more natural and more high-end. Bring it out. Give it space to breathe because what's going to what's going to give you value is the negative space. So the space that's in between like where the air is that's what actually gives you the value. Strangely enough it's like intangible So I kind of put it in and then pull it back so that it'll stand up a little. That way it won't lay flat and thank you Dawn for getting these for me. I really needed them. I needed them bad. See how pretty that is? Okay let's see. We need a little bit more. Yeah three that's what we needed. Let's see. Let me tell you what the number on these is. CS14646. I love these. Those are my favorite thing. Okay I have like two left so let's just kind of put them I know I'm going to put a group of flowers right here so I'm just kind of filling in around where that would be. I'm going to save this one. I'm going to take my flowers. I'm going to take three flowers. I want I think these three. These three flowers and I'm going to put them together in a bunch. All three together kind of right in the middle. I'm going to make this nice little grouping of our three flowers. All right and then I'm going to take these flowers. Put one down in here. There. One down in here. There. I'm going to put two up here. I'm dropping stuff on the floor. Of course. So we're only going to need this one bush of the ranunculus. That's it for the ranunculus. This one right here. There. We have three left. I'm not sure I'm going to put all three in. I know I want to put one coming out in the back like that. Now we have four left and I want to put this one right back here and the reason I do that is because when you have a wreath like this out. Let's say you have a wreath like this out at your craft show or whatever. When they're coming up from the side they're going to see that flower there. So that's why I put it there. All right now we're just going to put in extras. I'm going to leave a few long here. There we go. So I'm putting the longer ones kind of with my longer pieces. So bring in another color, another texture. I'm just going to kind of mix it in. Ouchie. I don't know what they're playing but it's fun. I like just adding in that little pop of color. I need to put. What did I do with that? Ah here it is. I need to put that extra here. Let's see I kind of missed a spot. Blue strings. I'm going to put one in the center. Don't neglect your center. I know you love it mom. It's great fun. She loves anything great fun. And then I'm going to put this one right in here. Okay. All right I think I want to put some of this in. So this is the 60919. I always hear about this stuff and I've never had one before. So okay let's see. A lot on it. I'll spread this all out. I was thinking. Yeah that's good. I'm gonna put the whole piece. Yeah I can see why. Right in here. Kind of move it around. Okay there we go. That's pretty. I'm gonna take one put it up top. So I'm trying to keep the whole thing together because you can just spread them out and then kind of move them around your design so that they'll fit in. And you don't have to take it all apart. It's going to save you a lot of time and energy. Time, energy, and effort. Let's put it back just a little bit. There we go. Okay now kind of move a couple pieces so that they'll kind of spread out a little bit. There all right. This one I'm gonna break up a little bit. Okay so I want to take this part put it right in here. So this way you know it'll be all within spread out in the wreath. You always want to try to spread some of it out because that's what will make it all tie together. This here and that. This here. One piece up in here. One piece here. See if that all you have to do is just take a few pieces kind of spread them out and then it looks like it's in the whole thing. Which of course it is. But you didn't have to use extra pieces. It's just how you break it up. No. I want to put some of those in. Let's just see. I definitely do not need that. We don't need that. I don't think we need that. Those over there. But I might use this. Yeah I like that. So this is the the wildflower from Sam's. It is CS21961. These are great fillers. They are really great filler flowers. Okay there we go. The glue stuck to my hand and wanted to come right back out. Okay definitely not what I wanted it to do. I think I'm all for like that there. Let's take that out. All right we're gonna break it up. It's too much all together. There. There we go. A little bit. Okay. I'm gonna put too much of this in here. I want it to enhance not detract. Let me see what it looks like. Let's see. I need some bee grass up here. Oh messy. So see the grouping of the three. That's pretty. All right we need just a tiny bit or what I could do is take that off and move it in here. Let's try that. Oh I like that. Oh I like that. Oh we might have to use one more. Just a tiny little bit. I don't want to overpower it. But just bring a little tiny bit of it up to the surface. Okay right here. I would check um check Stephanie's site because um we get a discount on her site so she may have them. If she doesn't I'll ask her if she can carry them so that maybe we can get some from her.
