Epic Haircut Transformation | Scissor Cut 2024

All right, okay guys you asked for it i'm back thomas baka barber with another video you guys asked for long hair to be cut into short this is going to be a long hair transformation and the hair is this long and uh he's going to be donating it to locks of love and guys look i'm going to use my mizutani scissors to cut the ponytail you guys can even watch thank you guys there it is guys and now i want you to see what i do with this hair and how elite that i make this guys i'm going into like a classic scissor cut i'm going to use all scissors on them but i'm going to have it uh real short with the scissors almost like you could have it to like a number four with clippers but i want him to experience just the luxury of having the scissors all right guys so what i'm going to start uh doing is i'm going to section the hair and so guys like this will make sure that your cut comes out elite look i'll be i'm going to be transparent and honest with you the whole way through and like there's no editing it's raw and uncut you're going to see how elite this is i don't know which way his hair wants to go but guess what i'll figure it out in two seconds the moment i put these shears on his hair it's over and every one of these haircuts you could think mizutani it's the scissors guys these scissors are very very elite if you don't have them your haircut will not come out like this all right guys like you guys can look and wonder i already know all of these measurements you guys see how i subsectioned it and popped it right over to give the vibe there guys i felt the vibe see how i did that look at the classic guys look at from this long hair and you're going to see how it does this it's just because i'm so used to these cuts too i'm really look how i come and create this blend look and i know there's other barbers that come over here and and they hold here and they come here and do that i'm not catching a bun like that i do it my own way and this is how i do it i follow and pull hair and then and cut it all off and we want to see if you can do that and well we we did it keep knocking him out the park dude eventually you're gonna have to realize i'm the greatest it's a mathematical equation that i'm the greatest too i've cut hair since i was 14 years old i'm 46 years old so it's like the the time i have in the game is unparalleled of what anybody has in the game except for some old man that you know doesn't i'm right there guys i'm at the cream of the crop right now let's get it out there to the world self-taught artist with a license i'm also an educator i also have an educator license guess what i'll tell you a little story behind my educator license i uh i did not go back to a school and pay a school to go educate over there i challenged the state board not only did i challenge the state board uh when i challenged the state board they told me well you'll have to get straight a's in every uh in every uh area of the test instead of just an overall i think 82 or whatever and guys i got straight a's on it was nothing to me i was locked up for 1827 days in a concentration camp cutting hair for 10 cents an hour if i can do this anybody can guys you don't see the struggle you guys see this part of it you didn't see me for 10 years cutting in a box oh he's only been licensed since 20 uh 2018 it's like and look how much i've done in that then i can fit it perfectly still too long on top but watch it guys i learned this haircut in la one of the guys sat down and said uh i went to grab my clippers and he said no clippers scissor only and i was like damn that dude must be high end like i just didn't you know what i mean it was oh he's more gentleman like the clippers are or he didn't want them so i had to invent that service out here and guys another thing these haircuts last longer so if you're getting some kind of clipper haircut you're probably coming in every week or two every couple of weeks if you're getting something like a scissor cut uh either long or short like a classic it'll last about you know three to four months a long scissor haircut will last six you know four to six months and those sides watch guys this is it i mean look how great that came out you can only imagine once his beard's cleaned up too bad you guys won't see that guys remember how i cut it straight across now i'm going to come here you have them another thing too guys i've used like uh cheaper shears a long time ago and uh when i first started out before any payment of haircut but uh it really wears your hands out so like these ones right here they're just really uh so sharp and so great that uh the ergonomics behind them are just fabulous it doesn't uh hinder your hand at all like no carpal tunnel no nothing it's just great i could see someone cutting for you know 50 years with and look in the back guys how i just created that little waterfall that just has the hair sit in perfect motion see how that's a better length right there perfectly now watch style that together shave the neck out who knows what the time frame of what i did that in was but it's like that's quick for any scissor haircut guys watch how i polish it this one's i mean man tell me what you think look at it from beginning to end and think about it he used all scissors on it he cut around his nape area with a pair of babyless uh babyless trimmers and uh and i'll shave the neck with a straight razor but uh the entire haircut was done with scissors they're all what's the difference when it's all done with scissors compared to clipper well the clipper blade sucks and if you look under a microscope or magnifying glass the clipper haircut destroys the hair if you if you are can wear it longer and you're able to do a scissor haircut my nano powdered metal scissors leave a way different cut on the follicle than a pair of clippers would so therefore the grow back is going to be very soft and it just grows back a little bit slower for some reason looks great god it's your you have really good hair i was like damn and how long did you grow your hair out for oh damn that grew quick in five or six years and what do you have a wife at home or yeah she's going to see that difference for sure that's what i was like that's going to be now look at this for good transformation and i'm still going to do your beard but watch and what
