When it came to introducing their mission to the world, Minima wanted to go for something a little outside what you’d normally expect from a web3 company. Though their work is highly technical, their goal is to give power back to people using the blockchain — so we stretched some new muscles and developed a hand-painted look with characters to give a human feel to their brand. …
The promise was freedom and it was called blockchain. Instead of a few organizations
having most of the control, the power would be redistributed to the people and it almost worked.
But the reality is this. If a handful of parties have the power to shut a whole blockchain down,
those parties are in control, not the people. But now the promise has been renewed.
Minima is putting nodes where they belong, right into your hands. And we're doing it with
a mobile phone. Because when phones become complete constructing and validating nodes,
the network becomes more secure, more scalable and more equitable than anything that's ever
been imagined. We're building the blockchain that was meant to be. A network so decentralized that
no one controls it and everyone owns it. So once launched, Minima, the network, will belong
to you. Value will be exchanged without third parties, apps will be built without restrictions
and people will connect without limits. Freedom is possible and together we can achieve it.
