Eschatological Transformation Part 1
In this study, we examine the eschatological transformation found in 2 Corinthians 3:18, a transformation which was initiated through the death of Christ activated through the Holy Spirit and consummated at the Parousia of Christ. This change connects the eschatological death of Christ with his victorious Parousia in bringing about covenantal tranformation and the face to face Presence of Christ.
These verses are problematic for those whose focus is on a body at death perspective which is a total deviation from the eschatology of the Bible.
Resurrection for Paul is always at the Parousia, not at death. The body or somatic change of the new testament is not about biology. In these videos, part 1 and 2, I briefly examine the issue. More of this is being written for publication in an upcoming book.
I am also responding to articles written by those who attempting to force Paul's writings into a discussion of individual bodies of the saints.
