Have you used Tinder Boost unsuccessfully before? Well, let's go over how to use it the right way.
Hey, welcome to Online 4 Love, your number one resource for dating by the numbers. Today,
we're going to be going over an online dating app called Tinder, but more specifically,
its Boost feature and how you can utilize it correctly.
Before we get into that, though, I do need to tell you guys about our Tinder 101 Hub.
Our Tinder 101 Hub consists of 70 plus articles that give you the information that's needed to
master Tinder. And another indispensable necessity is our Tinder opening line formula.
Using the Tinder opening line formula, we've discovered that users have received three times
the response rate that they had before. You can find those necessities in the links in the bios
down below along with our online dating app quiz and more. So in order to make this video a bit
easier to comprehend, I've broken it down into these five sections, the first of which is what
is Tinder Boost and how does it work, then how much does Tinder Boost cost, and then how and
when to activate Tinder Boost, and then why your Boost might not be working for you, and lastly,
tips to improve your Boost experience. So without further ado, let's jump into number
one on this list, which is what is Tinder Boost and how does it work.
So Tinder Boost is a feature that you can purchase within the Tinder app,
and what it basically does is it boosts your profile for 30 minutes,
meaning that it's going to put your profile on the top of other users' stacks for 30 minutes,
which will result in you getting 10 times more views and potentially 10 times more matches.
In addition to that as well, Tinder is also utilizing a new feature called
Super Boost, where you can actually purchase a three-hour, a six-hour, or a 12-hour Boost,
and they claim that it will get you 100 times more views. So how does Boost actually work?
So as I just said, it puts your profile on the top stack of other users nearby,
so another user will be nearby, swiping left and right, and if you have Boost on,
it's going to make your profile show up much quicker than if your Boost was not on.
Now note that a Boost only lasts for 30 minutes, so it does not last forever.
You'll know when you are actually utilizing Tinder Boost because you'll see on the bottom
right corner that Boost is activated, and there's a little multiplier symbol that will tell you
roughly how many more times views you're getting in that moment.
Do note though that other users will not know that you are utilizing the Boost,
so there's no worries in having to have another user see that you're using the Boost on the app.
So this is going to move me into number two on my list, but before I jump into that,
I did want to ask you guys to be sure you are hitting like and subscribe.
Seriously, it really does help push our videos out so that more users are utilizing our
information here at Online For Love, so we super duper appreciate it.
This is going to move me on to number two on my list, which is how much does Tinder Boost cost?
So if you are a Gold or Platinum member, you do actually get one Boost for free
every month of your membership. Outside of that though, you are going to have to purchase
Boost for you to utilize. Now note that Tinder does actually change the prices of Boost depending
on a few different factors, that being of age, that being of location as well. So I am a mid-20s
year old male living in the middle of the US, and these are the prices that I am seeing,
but they may be a little bit different from the prices that you see.
So one Boost will cost you $7.99, five Boost will cost you $7 each or $35 total, and 10 Boost will
cost you $6 each or $60 total. And for Super Boost, the prices look like this. A three-hour
Super Boost is going to cost you $49.99, a six-hour Super Boost is going to cost you $69.99,
and a 12-hour Boost is going to cost you $129.99. And don't worry, once you purchase a Boost,
you will be able to utilize it whenever you want. You don't need to use it right away.
However, if you have signed up for those premium memberships, you should utilize that free Boost
that they give you, because if you already have a free Boost to use and the next month happens,
then you're still going to be stuck with just that one Boost.
But before you start any Boost on this app, I do have to highly recommend that you have a great
profile. And the best way to figure out how to make a great profile is to check out our Tinder
101 Hub. Our Tinder 101 Hub consists of 70-plus articles that will help you master Tinder,
how to make a great profile, and that would lead to more matches and more dates.
So this is going to move me into number three on my list, which is how and when to activate
Tinder Boost. So once you've purchased your Boost, activating them is actually pretty easy.
You can just go to the main page on Tinder and click on the little Boost icon and your Boost
will start. And if you're a Gold or Platinum member, you can also click on the Boost icon
on the See Who Likes You page. And as I said earlier, this Boost is going to last 30 minutes,
although they do offer those Super Boosts, which can last up to 12 hours.
And something that's really important to consider is what time you actually start your Boost at.
You, of course, don't want to activate your Boost feature when nobody's online,
because then that would defeat the entire purpose. But looking at Tinder on average,
you're going to see that most users are online typically on Sundays between 9 o'clock and 11
o'clock at night. So long story short, setting your Boost off at 9 o'clock at night on a Sunday
is going to be when most people are online. However, there are a few different factors
that you should look into that should make you question whether or not to do that.
So just because that's the most popular time on average, and that might not be the most popular
time in your area. So if you're living in a city, it might be the best time to do it a little bit
earlier, as a lot of people like to go out for the night and aren't really on their phones when
they do that. So maybe at 7 o'clock would be a better time for you. Or maybe you're not really
wanting to interact with somebody who's on their phone that late at night, and you want to interact
with people who are on their phone more in the morning. So you can set your Boost off during
that time as well. So you can actually utilize Boost to find different types of people. So
whether you're looking for a morning person or maybe even a night owl, if you find yourself
up at 2 o'clock in the morning using Tinder, you want to find other people who are also up at that
time. Setting your Boost off at that time would help you find those people. Though be sure you
are living in a city when you do that because I can't imagine you're going to be getting much
matches in a very rural area. What might not be a bad idea is for you to purchase a few Boost and
actually experiment a little bit and see when you're getting most matches while the Boost is
going off. It is something that is going to cost you money, of course, if you want to keep doing
that trial and error to figure out when the best Boost time is. But in doing that trial and error,
you're going to find the best time for you. And by the time you use that last Boost, it is going to
be at the best optimal time, which is really what you're looking for. Do note, though, if you do get
matches from this Boost that you do eventually need to communicate with those matches if you
want it to result in a date. And what's really important is sending that first message, which is
why I'm going to suggest to you guys that you check out our Tinder Opening Line formula. Using
the Tinder Opening Line formula, we've discovered that users have received three times the response
rate they had before. This formula is indispensable for any person looking to secure a date with
another person on this app. So this is moving on to number four on my list, which is why your Boost
might not be working for you. So the first reason why your Boost might not be working for you is
because you activated that Boost at the wrong time. You want to make sure that you're activating
your Boost at an optimal time, but also not too optimal. If you're activating your Boost while
there's a ton of other people activating their Boost as well, then it's going to really defeat
the purpose of your Boost. That is especially going to be a problem if you live in a densely
populated area or a city. Another reason why your Boost might not be working is because there's just
not a lot of people in your area. Maybe you're just utilizing regular Tinder all the time and
you've noticed that you're seeing the same users pop up over and over again that you keep swiping
left on. Well, it just might not be that there's a lot of people in your area and utilizing a Boost
where there's no people nearby is going to defeat the purpose of using that Boost. And the third
most important reason why your Boost might not be working is because your profile isn't appealing
enough. You want to make sure that you have a great top-notch profile. Again, check out our
Tinder 101 Hub to figure out how to do that and to make it the most appealing to other users. This
is the most important and crucial thing on Tinder that you need to do in order to make more matches
and it really doesn't matter how many Boosts you have if your Tinder profile is terrible. So this
is going to move me on to number five on my list, but before I jumped into that, I did want to ask
you guys to be sure you are hitting like and subscribe. Seriously, it really does help push
our videos out so that more users can utilize this information from us here at Online For Love. We
super duper appreciate it. So this is going to move me on to number five on my list, which is
tips and tricks to improve your Boost experience. So of course, you want to make sure that your
is going to actually result in matches, but the most important thing is that you have a great
profile to start with. So let's talk a little bit about how you can make a great profile.
The first most important thing you need to pay attention to is your main profile photo.
Your main profile photo should be a clear image of yourself alone that utilizes vibrant colors,
where you're showing an emotion that is very inviting. You want to make sure that you seem
friendly and appealing to other users and that somebody would want to swipe right on you. If you
had a friend who is a photographer who can give you that high quality photo, then I highly suggest
that you ask them for a little bit of assistance in your Tinder profile. After your primary photo,
though, you want to make sure that all your secondary photos kind of show who you are,
but they don't lose quality in their picture quality. So showing yourself with some cute pets
that you have or showing your hobbies if you like travel or even if you like photography itself and
showing yourself doing those things is going to one, let somebody know what you look like even
more, and two, know what kind of personality you have through your photos. What's interesting as
well is that studies have actually been done on what type of clothes you should be wearing
in your profile photos, and it shows that men typically swipe right more on women who are
dressed formally, but women actually swipe right more on men who are dressed more casually versus
men who are dressed all the way up in a full suit. It just goes to show that if you want to get more
matches, you should really try to be casual, friendly, and open and approachable. You also
want to make sure that you're not putting yourself in group photos as well or having any party or
drinking photos either as all of those things are typically things that people will swipe left on.
And the next thing you want to focus on your Tinder profile is your bio, and yes, you should
absolutely have a bio for your Tinder profile. Having a great bio is going to be that extra step
which will make a person want to match with you. So it's important to be one, very humorous in your
profile, not too humorous, but just cheeky I guess. Something that's playful, something that's
inviting, and something that's friendly. And you can also put a reference to something so that if
somebody did want to message you, they would have something to be able to talk to you about because
you wrote it down in your bio. You also want to make sure that your bio is short too. There are
500 total characters that you can utilize in a Tinder profile, but that doesn't really mean
that you should be using all of them. People are going to want to know who you are, and most people
will not actually take the time to read an entire 500 character bio, believe it or not. Also make
sure you set the tone for what you are actually looking for on Tinder. If you're looking for a
less serious thing on Tinder, say that you're not looking for anything serious right now, but if you
are, absolutely say looking for something long term or something along the lines of that so you
are getting matches that are more geared towards what you're looking for. If you want to know even
more details about how to make a great profile, I do again highly suggest you check out our Tinder
Hub. Our Tinder 101 Hub consists of 70 plus articles that give you the information needed
in order to master Tinder, and another indispensable necessity is our Tinder Opening Line Formula. Using
the Tinder Opening Line Formula, we've discovered that users have received three times the response
rate that they had before. You'll find those necessities in the links in the bio down below,
along with our online dating app Quiz and More. If you guys would like to see some more videos
