I'm just making sure it's publishing.
Think it is? Yes. Okay, here we go. Here we go.
Hey y'all.
Okay, well it's thinking about it.
Okay, there it goes, there it goes.
Sometimes if I try to publish it like a few seconds early, it does not like it.
It really fusses at me.
Why is this not showing up?
I'm trying to see if it's live or not.
Can you see me Susan? I can't tell if it's working or not. It's just...
Hi.
So you can see me because on my screen...
Oh, it's working back there. Okay. Yeah, I don't know. It must just be my laptop.
All right.
I don't know why it's just spinning on there. Okay, so I got
the DecoExchange box and
I thought it would be fun to do something with that.
There we go.
All right, so I got the box. The box is
watermelon.
So I thought we would use a grapevine. We're going to use a little bit of the mesh, not a ton.
But it has this really giant sign and what I like is it's very thick.
So it'll work fine on a grapevine. Sometimes you can't use these on grapevines that are this big just because they're so heavy.
Or I mean they're not heavy enough, so they're not stiff enough.
Then we have
some of the Deco tubing.
There are six of these.
All right, so there's six of these little
picks.
It has
red, yellow, white, and then a little bit of pink in it. And then there's this bush with the yellow in it.
All right, so this one is
FP105129.
This one is
FH8194A3 and then there are
one, two, three, four ficus. So there's yellow.
Pink, red, and green.
That's a lot.
Okay, then the ribbons.
This is really pretty.
Watermelon ribbon. I like this a lot. It is canvas, but it has kind of a silky feel.
There's a four-inch. This is that Breeze crosshatch. See if you look at it, it is kind of plastic-y.
It has these little like crosshatches in it. It does work pretty nice,
but just so you're aware what it is. There's also a pink one like that.
Can you see the little crosshatches in it?
This one's really pretty.
It has red and black polka dots with the little green scallops, and then we have green and white.
So we'll make a bow with those.
That's what we're working with.
This was mesh.
So I cut, I think I cut five pieces at 20 inches.
So first thing we're gonna do I think is
put the sign on.
This one must have come from Sims because it's got little stuff in it.
Sometimes they're really good, sometimes they're really not.
So we're gonna use
bind wire.
Okay.
That way we can kind of hide it.
Honestly, I'm glad this thing hasn't fallen apart because when it came,
the little label thing was just not really on it.
It had
like kind of come off. So
thankfully it has not fallen apart because they can
easily fall apart
if you don't pull it from the center. And it was already open so I didn't really pull it from the center.
Yeah, it is full.
Full of nature, yes.
This is a cute sign too.
It looks very watermelon-y.
So.
So we'll take our
bind wire
just like we do with our signs.
And we'll twist it right there.
Oh my gosh, I tell you, poor Carson was so sick
for days.
Today is really the first day he's been fine without a fever.
I really thought I was gonna have to take him back to the hospital, but
thank God
he got past it.
Okay.
So I kind of want to put it like in the center.
So.
I think I might use this side because, so it has more
thickness, so it's gonna hold this sign a little better. And we're gonna put mesh
so that'll kind of hide the fact that this one's a little thinner.
Okay.
So I'm just gonna load it on with my weaving needle here.
The great thing is you can use it multiple times to get it in there really good.
And you're really not gonna be able to see it, it's just gonna look like the way they have it tied together.
So.
Just secure it on there really well. I'm just gonna tie it in the back, and then I'm gonna
see if I can, oh there they are.
That side.
Okay.
Let's just look at it.
It's gonna look good.
Just like so.
This one.
We'll tie around this, there's a piece right here.
And we'll tie it around that.
Yeah, as Zeke can tell you, his temperature was 103 for like three days. It was scary.
I was having to do the alternating agile Tylenol thing.
It was not good.
Okay, so we got our sign on there.
It's a little bit wobbly.
It's not bad.
Okay.
Probably could tighten it a little bit.
Just to get it a little bit
snugger.
There we go.
Okay.
There we go. Alright. Yeah, that's better.
Okay.
So for these.
Oh, that's okay.
What'd you cook?
Okay, so I'm gonna do
Woodland Ruffle.
I'm just gonna do a quick version.
I think last time I did
zip ties.
This time I'm gonna do
bind wire.
Okay.
Okay, so I'm gonna put the
bind wire on.
Okay.
Let's see.
See how it wants to kind of fall apart?
I need to fix it.
So I'm just gonna go over a few inches.
Another one.
Hold on.
There we go.
Ready?
So I'm going over about
two inches.
I'm just
loading them on so it'll be easier to do it.
Alright, here we go.
Now we can put it on.
Okay.
I'm not worrying about
which way I want to turn them right now.
I just want to get them on.
And then I will deal with
how I want to turn them.
Okay.
They're not gonna stay like that, in other words.
Did it flip her over to me again?
It's weird.
I don't know why it's doing that.
So what I want to do
is turn this
there.
I have one left,
right? Yes, one left.
Okay.
There. Yes, please.
You can...
No, you can put it on my desk though.
Isn't that pretty with the little curls?
Like that.
I want to do one more down here.
I know I dropped one.
There it is.
Okay.
There we go.
Look how cute that is!
The bow...
I think we're gonna put the bow on last.
I haven't decided if I want to put the bow
up here at the top and drape down
or if I want to put it down here at the bottom.
I don't know.
Alright.
I do want to put some of this in.
I don't need all this stem stuff
so I'm just gonna cut it off of there.
These are the colored ficus leaves.
It's
FG
647599.
Okay.
So we've got yellow.
Just gonna cut them into the trees to start.
The big ones
I'm gonna put them there.
Oops.
Haha.
And the green. Alrighty.
So, I want to kind of
start...
So these are the side pieces and I'm not
cutting it off.
I'm just gonna kind of put it in.
Put some green
in.
I want the green
to come out a little bit farther
like that.
I am kind of bending them off to the side
a little
so that they're kind of curving like that.
Red, I'm gonna come up
a little.
So we're gonna make
this side look a lot bigger
so this side doesn't look
unbalanced.
That's the great thing about ficus leaves
is you can get a lot
of
width and height
with ficus leaves.
We are doing a
C shape.
Alright, so
this down, this up.
See how much
wider that makes that look?
So now it doesn't look
all unbalanced
with this.
I'm saving some of these other ficus leaves.
These
spread out
and move.
I don't think I need to pull these apart.
I'm gonna kind of
sneak it under.
No, thank you.
I'm doing a hook just to make it easier
to get in there.
I'm going under that last one.
Now
Okay
Let's pull
See if I can pull it apart.
Okay, there.
Okay
Put it here.
Pull it out.
These
here.
Definitely want to go with the
brain.
There.
Put this one
kind of in
with the
mesh there.
These I'll probably
put in the side.
But the flowery stuff
in
these.
Just kind of twisting them together.
Yeah, they are tiny
little wildflowers, aren't they?
So I just kind of
put it in between
and then just kind of move some.
Because you don't want it to
look like it's only on the side.
You want it to have some in the middle too.
Okay
There's the other two.
Goodness.
So same thing with this one.
I want to pull out these
big leaf
leaves.
Okay
Separate
these.
Because you always want to incorporate them.
So I am going in
between the mesh stacks.
Because then it's easy for me to
move them around.
Oh!
My thing came untied. That's weird.
I guess I didn't
tie it very well.
Okay, there.
There.
Tie
these.
But
I'm going to
put that
in there.
Okay.
There.
These two
separate.
And then
put
here.
Okay.
Okay, I'm going to take
these long ones out.
We're just going to
shorten them.
So that they're not
way long.
There we go.
They are pretty
tiny.
For sure.
They're very delicate.
That's what I would say.
Delicate.
I just want to get some out here on the side.
So that way it looks like
it's all incorporated.
Right, Santa?
He's like, whatever, I'm sleeping.
She's busy. She's busy sleeping.
Okay.
I don't know that I want to put
maybe I'll put this one
in here.
Alright.
See how pretty that looks?
And it looks
plenty wide for this
here.
Still not as tight as I want it to be.
I have to redo that.
That's a little better. Okay.
I don't know
that I need to put any of this in.
There's already a lot in it.
We'll just see.
Maybe we'll put a little
in the middle.
Okay.
Just one more.
Yeah.
I know.
Not that it really
needs it, but I have
it so I might as well put at least
a little in it. That's cute.
Alright.
I'm not even sure we can get a bow in it.
We're going to have plenty left to do
something with it, to do another project
with it, so that's good.
We'll have to save
all of this for a different
project because
there's no way it's going in here.
Let me just look
and see if we're going to be able
to get a bow in this.
So we'll make a bow and then we'll see
what we want to do.
I honestly don't think I can fit a bow
in here. Let's make a bow
anyways. Just because we have
it. Yeah, there's
no way a bow is going to fit in there.
See, look.
Even if I only did
something right here,
I just don't think it would
look right. Yeah,
I agree. It's pretty full.
Why does it keep doing that?
Hold on.
Okay, that was
weird. Let's do
like maybe a
20 inch tail.
Seven inches.
Seven.
And seven.
What I really want to do is show you how
you can use the
supplies a different way.
This will work out because we can
do another project
with this bow and the rest of the supplies.
We'll save
them
and do another project.
That works out because I was
thinking about making a
wreath
thing with a watermelon.
So let's do
the green one.
Maybe we'll make a wreath attachment
and then use the rest of the supplies.
So we're going to do six inch now.
I have a whole
bunch of ribbons. I kind of like
to do two, two,
two, two, two because
then you can kind of spread them out and
kind of see all of them
a little better.
I like that.
I think so too.
I like watermelon wreaths.
They're a good summertime
wreath.
This one's kind of all
different
going different pattern ways
so you don't really need to twist it.
It is really pretty.
I can at least
get a bow going.
There we go.
Okay.
Let's do this one.
The pink kind of looks a little odd to me
but
there is
pink in that little
flower.
There is a little bit of pink on the sign.
So I want to go
five inch now.
So you can hear the
ribbon.
It's similar
to jelly ribbon but
not completely.
It's not as stiff as jelly ribbon
but it has kind of a
little bit of a similar
feel to it.
So
if I equate it to something that's what
I would say.
Let's do
maybe like a, did I say that
was 20 inches?
This is
there's a yard.
Okay. So 46
inches.
I'm just going to make
a little center loop. I never do that
so let's do that.
Okay. So I just make
the little loop and have the tails go down.
Alright.
Get my zip tie around it.
It's a monster bow.
So there's our indention.
So we'll
slide it around.
So see how this will go in the center.
There.
Alright. Let's do a
let's put our back here.
Alright.
See I like to spread
them so they're kind of
odd even kind of thing.
Like that.
And then on the other side
I'll do the opposite.
So like that.
It makes it look rounder.
That's why I like to do the 2-2-2.
Because I can kind of
you know alternate them
and make it look a little bit larger.
Alright.
Let's fluff it.
There we go.
Had to find my ends.
Our little pieces are stuck.
Remember if you struggle
with bows do one side and then the other.
Still not sure
if I like that pink.
Looks a little out of place.
Let's get the
tables ready here.
This is really pretty though.
I like the green and the red and black polka
dots.
Curl them up.
Really see what I'm doing.
If I had picked
this I would not have picked the pink.
But
I did.
We can make it work. I can make it work
even if somebody sends me something that's not quite
right. I can still make it work.
Alright.
Let's look at our bow.
See now what you could do
right. If you didn't
want to use the sign you
could do the bow
instead of the sign.
Let's see how that looks.
See now if we try to do a bow
on here it would just look ridiculous.
It just wouldn't work.
But we've got
the wreath. See how
pretty that looks with all that width on the side.
And then of course
the sign looks right because
we made the other
side bigger. It's fun.
It's a fun way to use the mesh
even though you're not doing
a mesh wreath.
And I think you know sometimes we get tired
of making everything
on a wreath frame.
Sometimes it's fun to make it on a
on a grapevine.
Yeah.
Awesome. Alright
y'all. Well I'm going to save the rest
of this and we'll use it
again. So
and I didn't even use this. So
I think this would look really cute in the middle
of the mesh but I don't really want
to put it in this because I just don't
think it would detract from the cute little flowers.
So I won't do
that.
I'm going to unplug my thing real quick.
There we go.
There.
Alright y'all.
Okay so I'm going to
keep the Monday schedule.
It's so much easier for me
and I don't have to worry about
something going wrong at the end of the
week. So I hope
y'all like the schedule.
Alright. So I will see you
guys. I haven't got tags in
my pocket. I'll see you guys
either tomorrow or
Wednesday. I'm going to try to do
tomorrow. Last
week was a disaster.
But you know
knock on wood. No one's sick.
No one has doctor's
appointments until Thursday. So
hoping
that's going to stay that way. Oh
I'm going to be listing
this probably tonight.
I finally got all the ribbon
in. So
I'm excited about that one.
Alright. I hope
y'all have an awesome night
and I will see you
guys hopefully tomorrow.
Although it may be like
in the afternoon
because
once everybody gets home
and the house gets busy it gets harder.
Alright.
Well y'all have a good one
and hopefully I'll see y'all
tomorrow.
