I FITTED A POWERFUL JET ENGINE ON MY MOUNTAIN BIKE - FULL SPEED RUN!

I'm gonna fit this super powerful jet engine
to my Canyon Stoic hardtail and hit full speed.
Now, to get the jet engine fitted,
I've bought this little bike rack here
and hopefully with a bit of modifying
and some wood screwed in, it's gonna work out.
So let's see what we can do.
Super simply, we're gonna just ram that on there.
So it's got this little kit here.
We're just gonna give it some support for the weight.
You just connect that on.
The custom bike rack is fitted then.
My plan then is to fit two bits of wood like this.
They'll be cut down and then we can screw in
another bit of wood that will connect the two pieces
that the jet pack can sit on.
Hopefully it's all strong enough.
Let's cut this wood down and make dreams a reality.
Right, now what we're left with
is this sort of box shaped arena here for the jet.
So that's gonna fit on there, see?
Professionally fitted, locked in.
That is actually ridiculous.
It is now a month later and after we finally got some help,
we have it all fitted, wired up.
We've got fuel in the tank and it is time to go.
We're about to make dreams a reality.
I've always wanted to have a jet engine bike
and the sound of it is just gonna be
the most exciting thing on earth.
Ready, Louis?
We got mum on the camera.
Thanks, mum, over there.
Right, this is a difficult task to remember.
So, just hold the bike a little bit.
You're gonna be the gas holder.
So we put this in.
Yeah, here we go.
Wait for it.
Wait, hold the brake as well.
It's working!
Oh!
Whoa!
That's insane!
Oh my God!
That is so scary and loud.
Basically, I forgot because I got scared.
If I push forward on this controller, it cuts the power.
So now we have to wait for it to cool down
with its cooling sequence.
Once it's done that, we can start it again.
There's more power than I thought.
I'll get it going again.
Go up there, turn, and then full speed park.
This is the best day ever.
Whoa!
Oh!
Oh no!
Yeah!
Oh!
Whoa!
Yeah!
First test, it works.
That's next level.
It works better than I thought.
Downsides are, this needs to be stuck on the bar.
We're gonna do that.
And if you flick the switch forwards, it cuts the power.
So that's a safety thing in there.
That's kind of difficult while bumping along.
So we're gonna try a concrete location now
to get so fast we don't know what to do with ourselves.
Let's move on.
We've come to the next location.
This is a disused airfield runway.
We're gonna go so fast.
I wanna strap on the controller.
We're gonna do that in a second.
And then we can use this motor at its full RPM,
which is 125,000 RPM.
We're gonna scream this thing down here.
I think we'll be able to get around 40 mile an hour,
but online, it reckons we might be able to do 60,
which is gonna be absolutely insane.
Let me get this fitted, fire up the engines, full speed.
Let's get it.
Okay, we're gonna get this taped on
to make life a bit safer.
I mean, it's still not gonna be safe, is it?
Okay, it's just taped on.
We're gonna be going 60 miles an hour.
Yeah, that's nice.
Yeah, we're on, no way.
Yeah, we're ready.
Here we go.
Full speed.
Oh, ha, ha, ha, ha!
Whoa!
Oh!
Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo!
What on earth?
Oh-ho-ho!
Oh my, that was, that had to be,
that must have been over 40 miles an hour, wasn't it?
That was so, I was just praying
that this controller didn't fall off.
And then I sat back and I was like,
oh, I don't wanna sit into the suction area.
Oh, I'm like shaking, that was so fast.
We gotta let it cool down a bit now.
Yes, dreams are reality.
It's insane.
I can't get enough of jet engineering.
I'm also gonna be doing loads of stuff
with this over on my second channel.
If you haven't seen it yet,
it's called Sam Pilgrim Lifestyle.
I've done loads of random non-bike related stuff.
But what we wanna do now is tape on the GoPro pole here
with the Max 2 on.
It like will delete the pole.
I'm kind of nervous it's gonna melt my brand new camera.
But I think if it doesn't, which it probably won't,
you'll be able to see into the fire coming out the back.
So we're like, I'm a proper jet fighter, but on a bike.
A jet biker.
Round two then.
We got the Max fitted on the bike.
Hopefully that doesn't interfere or get burnt.
And I'm gonna see if I can go even faster again.
This is literally what I've dreamed about for so long.
So the fact we're doing it today is the best thing on earth.
Let's get up there full speed coming up.
What happened?
It blew up.
Oh no.
We ran out of fuel, I think.
Oh, that was scary.
I thought it had blown up.
We just ran out of fuel.
That probably looks sick.
It was smoking everywhere, wasn't it?
Look, they're the only times we've done it
and that whole tank of fuel is gone.
That's how much it drinks.
I was scared that second go had like blown it up.
But actually it just ran out of fuel.
So we've got this special fuel adapter thing here
where you get this out
and then we've got to take this off
which has been specially made for pulling apart.
We then put that in there.
Wow, this is the pro-est set up ever.
It's quite like Formula One-y all of this, isn't it?
Like electric things and jet engines.
Kind of nothing to do with Formula One actually, is it?
What we want to do now then.
Strange there's so many cars
on this private and disused airfield.
What we want to do now is go off-road.
We're going to get the FPV.
Louis can chase me.
We're going to be in a confined area
for more noise and danger.
And it could be one of the greatest clips
ever filmed on a mountain bike.
Could also end in disaster.
Let's get over there.
We've come to another spot to fly the drone.
We've got this cool track that then becomes woodland.
So hopefully you can keep up Louis
and don't destroy my brand new drone
because you've already destroyed it once
and we had to go and get another one.
But let's get it out.
Beast is ready.
We've got new fuel in it.
This is going to be a long run of just flat out jetting.
I'm so excited for it.
Let's get ready.
Ready?
It turned off.
It didn't like all that bumpiness.
Okay, strapping.
Oh no, it cut again.
Oh, it doesn't like the bumps at all.
Oh, that's annoying.
It cut out.
It doesn't like the bumps.
Oh no.
Game over.
Yeah, it has to be the bumps.
If you think about it,
when it's slapping up and down like that,
it's probably like a safety mode.
Like if it was a heavy landing on a remote control aeroplane
which is what it's for.
So yeah, cool.
We'll try and find a final smooth location then.
Come to the next spot.
We've got this sick driveway here, private ones.
We're allowed to blast down all the way to the end.
We've got some turns and that.
Louis is going to have the drone.
There is a power cable though.
So we're going to check if the drone's going to work.
If it takes off,
we'll initiate the motors to start spinning
and shred hard.
Yeah, let me turn around.
That's next level.
Yes, survived it.
That's incredible.
That was literally the best day ever.
I've dreamt of having a jet engine for so long,
but I'm not getting rid of it.
If you check my second channel, Sam Pilgrim Lifestyle,
and keep your eyes peeled over the next few uploads,
I'm going to be doing a lot more with the jet engine
because it is the most fun thing ever.
Unfortunately though, that is the end of the video.
See you in the next one.
To the sky.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
