Experience one of the most extraordinary Protection Dogs Worldwide handovers ever filmed. In this video, we deliver Iron, a top-tier family protection dog, to a very high-end client in Norway — and the entire trip felt like something out of a movie.
From a helicopter landing in front of a breathtaking stately home, to exploring the client’s private forest and luxury log cabins, this handover showcased Iron working confidently in a variety of real-life environments. His obedience, stability, and protection skills were flawless throughout, making this one of the strongest demonstrations of elite family protection training we’ve captured.
The estate was incredible, the vehicles were luxury, and Iron proved exactly why he is considered one of our most exceptional, balanced, and capable family protection dogs.
If you’re interested in elite family protection dogs, VIP security dogs, or want to understand what a high-level protection dog handover looks like in real life, this video highlights the full process from start to finish. — Learn more about our world-class family protection dogs, training, and handover process at Protection Dogs Worldwide.

It's ******* power. You've got a weapon in your hand, like it's a ******* weapon.
I don't care if you say we outnumbered. We live by this and we die by this. We don't retreat.
That's what you call a superstar dog. That's a top dog. There's no bullshit about it.
We don't run. We don't stand. We don't live. We don't die by what we stand for,
and everybody's going to know what we represent and what we're a part of.
Is this working?
It's what working?
This microphone?
Yeah.
Oh, so we're all on?
Yeah, we're good.
Oh, we're recording?
Yeah.
Oh, let's go then.
You're on.
Okay.
Welcome to our first handover in Norway. This is the biggest one of the year. We haven't
been here before, and this dog's also a founder's dog, so it's one of the best dogs we've ever had.
You'll see why later on throughout the days. It's a really special place. I mean,
the society is absolutely just out of this world. It's going to be a big one. So welcome to Norway.
It's a good place to live, isn't it? He's made it all right, hasn't he?
I mean, every dog deserves a good home. Every dog deserves an amazing place,
but I'm so happy for this dog. The dog's lived with me for eight months now straight.
Pretty much one of the hardest handovers I'll have had to have done this year,
or in the last couple of years. Especially the hardest one for Ariel.
She cried her eyes out when this dog left. Proper cried her eyes out.
So this whole filming for the next few days is mainly for her. So she'll enjoy this,
and she'll love this one. I'm all set to do some obedience. Can't wait to do some protection here.
There's all sorts we can do here. Creepy little men in bushes and
all the fun stuff. I'm going to do it for a ball this morning to pick his energy quite high.
I'll show you control around the ball and all the stuff. How to bark, how to speak,
and all them commands. But I'll show you how to build his energy up as well,
so you can have some good power fun with him as well.
That's good. He asked him to bark. He put the ball behind his head.
He said, speak, Olivia. He knows to speak. Close. He's basically saying to Ian,
I've got something you really want. He's saying, okay, I really want that.
Then he gets the engagement. Good boy. Down. Out. Good. Close. Close. He's just said close.
Close is on the left side. He'll do a close from anywhere. Good. Close. Ball. Close. Ball.
Close. Good boy. Down. Out. Down. And the dog will stay there.
And he will stay in that position until you release him.
Sit. Down. Here. If you say weave and take a step forward, he'll come between your legs.
As he comes to the right side, open your left leg. Then he'll come to your left side.
So ball is literally just for obedience. It's so you guys can come out here and have fun with each
other. It's a great way of bonding with him because he loves his ball. He's obsessed with it.
Good boy. Well, that was a perfect round of obedience. Yeah, it was literally.
Dog does not let you down anytime, anywhere. He does not let you down, this dog.
Collar's in my pocket, so it's not like I've been using it. You can see if it's in my hand,
I use it. You'll find I might use this once or twice in the whole handover. Very, very,
very minimal use for collar because the dog is so willing as a dog. He's just such a pleasing dog
that to him working for you is fun. He likes you though. He's got a bond with you already. Look.
Look at that. Special. Look at that. All the people here chose to sit with him. He's gone
back to you with it, not me. And he's wagging. Look, he's happy with it. Good feeling that.
Yeah, it is. Yeah. Oh, good boy. That's beautiful. I mean, do you want to walk him
around? Do you want to walk around the ground with him? Take him on a little walk. Let him
enjoy it now. Ollie. Good day. Brilliant day. A heavy day. It was good. Beautiful place. I mean,
look at it. Ian settled in really well. The place is phenomenal. This is a big, big handover. It's
for security reasons. You'll never see the client and there's some things, well, a lot of things
we're not filming off camera, but yeah, we're still allowed to film the dog and what we're
doing. So that's cool. Grateful for that, which is nice. We'll show you a bit about what we've
been doing in Norway till tomorrow. Good morning from Norway. It's a big day today. It's a nerve
wracking day. There's a lot of elements that I haven't done here or trained for before that
we're going to implement into today's scenarios. So you've got that element of a bit nervous,
but I like it and I trust in the dog and I trust that what he's capable of.
We've got a chopper landing shortly. We're going to do something funky on the chopper.
Excited about that. After that, we're going to head over to the woods. It's a very different
type of handover. As you can see, it's not your normal setup. It's a super cool setup,
cool guy, cool team with us. That's what we're going to do today. We're going to have it big.
Let's go. All right, close. Good. Lovely. Perfect position. Close. Here. Down. Here.
Legs. Legs. Legs. A bit sportier. He'll find that gap. Legs. That was good. That was really good.
That was a nice fun session. We'll do that today in the woods as well if you want to do a bit of
Plated up. We're ready to go. One robber in. Second robber. Car's ready. Other car's ready.
Chopper's landing. Jump more faster. Yeah. Jumping. Ballet hop. Jump. Sounds good.
Give it a little twinkle. I'm not being mad, but give it a twinkle.
Okay. Close. Good boy. Let's head to the forest. Hike in the forest. Get some cool
stuff done in there. Plan some scenarios. Big brabus. Mad, eh? Insane. That's Ludo's new pet.
He's got a trainer. It's a bit bigger than a pigeon, isn't it? What are you going to teach
it to do? Sit. Well, **** all. It don't move. In the middle of the forest,
me giving a nice tabby. You picked your room? Yeah. I picked a double room. You rush in and
grab it? I run straight in. I've never seen him move so fast. Sprinting like a little school
girl, isn't he? Yeah. I'm the widest here. I'm not surprised after all the rich teas you're eating.
No problem. That's why they've got love on those. Oh my god.
Beautiful cabin.
Has this been here a while?
He stands still. Do you want to ride up to the shooting range?
You can just take that, if you want to take the Hummer. Yeah, cool. You can just drive up that
road. You'll see that dome when you get over there. Okay. We'll just meet you up there. Yeah,
I've got full signal. I've got better signal here than I have at home. Yeah, cool. -------
work that out. I love this ******* thing. It's dangerous. Rambo gone rogue. We'll just keep
coming back on him, yeah? It's a ******* real cell. First time on a sniper. ------- fun.
That's how a big man shoots. Who was better? Definitely me. Just excuses.
This thing will blow your wrist off. I've got it tight. I'm scared of it. Don't laugh at me.
Don't laugh at me, yeah? I will. I ******* will. Iron sights, bitch. Yes.
You're not on the screen.
What are the odds of him doing it again? We'll see.
Yeah. You ******* hit a different country. I told you it was a fluke, didn't I? You can get lucky
once. Yeah, good job. I told you I'd put an iron sight. What iron sight? I told you I'll shoot
four shots later. Where have you hit, pal? You're right-footed, so I'd put your left foot forward
and you'd get into like a sort of a boxing stance and then give him a little bit of line.
They're always you and him as a team. The most important thing ever when people do
protection is go, boy, well done, Iron, you get him, because ultimately it's you and him.
Good, nice and relaxed. Perfect, nice and relaxed. Get it all. Get him, Iron.
Iron. Out. Out.
There we go. Stand back. Ready, Jim. Yes, good. Get him, Iron.
Out. Out. Good. It's ******* power. You've got a weapon in your hand, like it's a ******* weapon.
It's how I feel when you shoot a cool gun. It's that feeling. You get that, oof,
what have we got here? Nice, that, though. They've got a very good bond together.
A bit jealous. It's been a long time I've spent with him and he's shifted,
but it's nice to see. It's really nice to see. It's reassuring, because I thought
it'd be very hard for him if I left him, and he's clearly not that hard for him that I've left him.
There's nothing better than a fire. Good day, or what?
Unreal day, mate. He's got such a good connection with his dog already. He's got a bond with him.
The dog's really taken to him. He's taken to the dog. It's a win. Everyone's happy.
And on that note, I'm going to go in the steam room and sauna.
Adios, amigos. Adios, amigos. Any marshmallows, pal?
Morning. Morning, Ollie.
Good night? Really good night, if I'm honest. Yeah, it's nice, cosy, warm, cool little cabin.
It's beautiful, isn't it? Yeah, pretty stunning.
So I'm going to go do a world-class round of obedience right now.
The camera doesn't lie. Oi, look, it's the one-shot king. Here we go.
Ironsides. Ironsides, yeah.
That's my nickname. I tell you, Ironsides!
See you in a minute.
House. House. Ball. House. Ball. Ball. Yes. Down. Here. Down. Back. Back. Back. Down. House.
Good. Sit. Down. Yeah. Good boy. Yeah. Good boy. Down. I like the way he goes back to it every
time. Look, he just fucks me off and goes back to it. He just goes back there. He's like,
look what I've done. Look what I've done. Spin. Spin. Down.
Down. That's a good boy. Down. Yeah. Good decision.
Good. Down. Good. Yeah. Yes, now you can have it. Good. That was good. Nice.
Nice, isn't it? Quite sad, but nice. But you know what? As long as he's happy. He's obviously
made that decision. You can't make a dog make a decision. He's made that decision to go pick
and be with him, so it's lovely. He's not even moving. Yeah. He's literally gone there,
got the ball, and not even, he just wants to be there with him.
Tell me about it, stud. I'm going to get a bit of coke.
I got chills. No supplying. No power. No power. No supplying. It's electrifying. It's electrifying.
I think that scene you've got him doing has actually got to his ******* head.
A mentalist. He actually thinks he's mental, doesn't he?
Control, Air One. Visual on suspect. Infrared. Single male, on foot, moving northeast through
woodland, heading towards the estate. Subject is an escapee from Ravensworth Secure Hospital,
sectioned under the Mental Health Act. High risk. Ground units be advised.
Hello. Who's a good boy? Hello, my boy. Hello.
Hello. Thank you. That's what you call a superstar dog. That's a top dog. There's no
bullshit about it. And yeah, I've been gym, sauna, steam room, spa. You're glowing, to be fair.
Glowing. Surprising the amount of steam rooms I've had today. A successful trip. We're at the end of
it. It'll be a sad one, but it's also nice because I've seen the dog attached to the owner, which has
been lovely. But he was a big part of the family, big part of the kids. He's not just a dog that
I've had for a week, two weeks, or a few months. He's been there a long time. And he becomes a
part of your life. Becomes a part of everything. So it'd be strange going home and not having him
there. The main thing is that he's got a good owner. It's not always about the house and the
grounds. We know that. The owner's nice, and that's what matters. So yeah, successful. I can't
complain. That's a wrap on Norway. First time we've been here. Won't be the last. And off we go.
Continue on the next journey, which is Marbella.
