Shining As Lights in End of Age Harvest Matt. 13:38-45

Now, take a look at this text. I asked Michael Holloway a question about whether Matthew, the parable of the tares, had anything to do with the destruction of Jerusalem, whether this was fulfilled in 70 AD. And this is he said no, he said absolutely not. He says this was future. Well, and the reason is because of the statement about, you know, the separation of the tares from the wheat and also from this statement about their shining. Because if you compare this with Daniel, you see exactly what was said. So let's take a look at these passages. Daniel said, those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. Matthew 1343 says, then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. Well, if you go to Philippians chapter two and verse 15, it says that you may become blameless and harmless children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. Well, that crooked and perverse generation is the generation from Deuteronomy chapter 32. And it's the one that the Lord quotes throughout his ministry about the adulterous and sinful generation. It is also the one that Peter quotes in acts two 40 and Paul is referring to it here. So it's called that crooked and perverse generation. He says, notice among whom you shine as lights in the world. So now we've got these people in the first century shining, but then again, look in Colossians two, I mean, one 12 and 13, giving thanks to the father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance in the light. He who has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the son of his love. So we have the very elements of Daniel 12, along with Matthew 13 in the kingdom taking place right here in the first century and these saints in the kingdom and shining. Now it's not consummated yet. It was about to be consummated because we're talking about 70 AD, but you can see very clearly how the text was being fulfilled already in that, in that timeframe.
