Today was all about our sweet senior girl, Memphis! To celebrate her milestone 13th birthday, I took her on a special "Memphis and Me" solo road trip to Traverse City. From meeting some "big dogs" at the elk park to her essential physical therapy session, we packed the day with memories. It was a long journey, but seeing the joy on her face (and her excitement for those birthday treats!) made every mile worth it. Life is short, make memories with your dogs!
Taking a senior Siberian Husky on a long road trip requires a bit of extra planning, especially when managing dog health and mobility. Since Memphis is 13 years old, we made sure to prioritize her physical therapy for dogs, including a session on the water treadmill and laser therapy to help with muscle tightness. We explored several pet friendly stores in Michigan, showing how easy it is to travel with a senior dog when you have the right routine. From finding the best all natural treats to meeting fans of the channel, this birthday vlog is a testament to why we cherish every moment with our older dogs.
