All right, so he just took this little left lane over here to avoid the traffic jam
It's crazy traffic
Like what the hell is this guy doing what's this little american
Say hi say hello
This is where the courts are in colombo that's where
everything
Goes down
That's where the courts are. Okay, that's where the judges and lawyers go
the official
The high court of colombo right there the high court
Okay
The second executive president of Sri Lanka was killed and suicide
So he's the second president
This is the best guy in the world if you ever come to sri lanka and you don't have this guy as your guide
You're are an idiot
He calls himself black
He's indian
He looks he looks dark skinned like a like an indian
Which is a little different
very similar
All right. So we're here in the cinnamon lakeside hotel. This hotel is 340 rooms and it's a five-star hotel
On a lake which is the bear lake and this pool is fantastic
It's definitely a place to be when you come to colombo. I think it's the hotel
The other hotel I stayed at was the gala face. It's more colonial. It's not as beautiful as this one
This one's more boutique looking the inside is awesome and my room is fantastic. I love my room because we have all the rooms
And tonight i'm going to be eating here at this restaurant right here
Long fang which is a thai restaurant and i'm also going to be filming a chef right over here make some
Crab curry and i'm just going to try a little bit to see how the crab curry tastes
And then after that we're going to go here and have some dinner
I've had a tiring day eight hours drive from yala
And um, yeah and tomorrow morning I have to leave at 8 a.m
Again to candy so I have a three hour drive i'm going to stop at the elephant
Orphanage on the way to candy. So I i'm super excited about that because
I'm gonna see some elephants finally because I didn't really see them in yada. We're like in a distance
Okay, so this is uh, you know the cinnamon lakeside hotel
You gotta check this hotel out
Hello
And this is the chef and he's gonna show us how to make crab curry, okay, so now
Chef explain to me what the ingredients are
So here we have the crab. Okay. Yeah
Sliced onion green chili garlic
Ginger
Curry powder and cinnamon
Okay, chef, let's start let's start so he's adding oil right now it's gonna be very spicy
Not so spicy
So, how how do you determine to make it mild or hot? What what is the ingredient that actually changes that more chili?
Then you'll get more more spice. Okay. So which is the chili again?
Okay
So this is the the ingredient that actually changes the complete flavor of the curry
Really it's this chili the red chili. Yeah, the red chili is the is the the one that really um changes the flavor. Okay
Okay. Now the curry, uh cooked for 10 minutes
Now it's ready
What we're gonna do now he's gonna serve on the plate and then i'm gonna use my hands to open the shell
Okay, so here we have crab curry first time i'm trying crab curry in sri lanka that's traditional here
Um, we just saw the chef made it now i'm gonna show you how to eat it
Obviously if you've ever eaten crab, you know how to eat it
Just gonna eat it with my hands
Very good a little hot though, it's like the flavor really gets into the crab
No, not too spicy, but I mean it really gets in there
