The Unity of the Faith and the Fulness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-14). In the first video we take a closer look at Ephesians four and the gifts given by the Spirit for the accomplishing of the unity of the faith. Some are confused over the meaning of this phrase. They make it focus on uniting denominations. However, we should ask, how many of those organizations existed in the time of Paul. Why would he be working to eliminate what did not yet exist for hundreds and thousands of years?

This can only mean that the unity of the faith refers to a more present reality than the union of non-existent sects as we know them today. Understanding the "unity of the faith" will also help us to understand the fulness of Christ which is a subject that we discuss more in the next video.
