Hi boys and girls and welcome back to Graceful where God's love is everywhere. It's me
Pastor Anastasia and I'm so super duper excited that you join me today as we learn more about our
best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from the Bahamas
where my friend Charlotte has prepared a beautiful reminder of God's love
just for us. Let's listen in.
Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.
Thanks Charlotte, that was amazing. Boys and girls remember if you want to share your gifts
and talents for Jesus, please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share
it with our friends. It's nature time again. I have to give a quick shout out to our nature
time buddies Joshua and Aviatar for this cool gift that they sent me all the way from India.
Thanks guys and we have an extra special treat for us today at nature time because our friend
Ryan from Canada is back and you know how it is with him. You never know who or what we're gonna
meet so come along with me. Hello boys and girls and welcome again to Nature Time at Graceville.
Today we're going to be talking about razorfish. Let's tune in. It is very easy to spot razorfish
because they have thin flat bodies and pointy mouths. They are called razorfish because they
look like the blades of knives. These interesting fish swim upside down which helps them find food.
Their backs are pale yellowish brown and their bellies are white with a dark colored stripe
from their snout to their dorsal fins. They can grow to about 14 to 15 centimeters long.
Razorfish have no teeth and so they swallow their food whole. They eat many types of zooplankton and
small crustaceans like eggs, larva, and seed shrimp. Thanks to their flat bodies razorfish
look like a thin rod or stick. This helps them blend into their surroundings and hide from
predators. Swimming upside down also helps them hide among sea urchin spines and corals.
They can also hide by blending in with pointy leaves. When they are being chased in open water
they quickly swim away with amazing speed like regular fish. The razorfish reminds me of Hebrews
chapter 4 verse 12a. It says God's word is alive and working. It is sharper than a sword sharpened
on both sides. The word of God teaches us what is right from wrong. Hi boys and girls. Thanks for
tuning in. See you next time. That was so cool and we're back just in time to check in on Melissa.
I wonder what she's up to today. Let's go. Hey Pastor Nastasia. I just can't do this. Do what?
I've been trying to put together my new Paw Patrol tower for hours and whatever I seem to do
these two parts just won't connect. This is impossible. I hear you. When things seem
impossible it just means that we need a little help and I've discovered that there's no better
helper than Jesus. Wait a minute. That reminds me of our theme for this week which simply says
my help comes from God. Let me hear my friends say it. My help comes from God. And our memory
verse is found in Psalm 121 verse 2 and it simply says my help comes from the Lord who made heaven
and earth. Let me hear my friend Eliana say it. Hello my name is Eliana and today's scripture
reading is going to be taken from Psalm 121 verse 2. My help comes from the Lord the maker of heaven
and earth. Bye. Great job everyone.
Yeah I don't think God plays with Paw Patrol toys. I'm pretty sure he has more important things to do
like saving the world right? Everything that's important to you is important to God. In fact
your situation reminds me of this guy who thought he had the most impossible request ever asked of
anyone in the Bible. When the king of Syria sent him a letter asking him to heal Captain Naaman
of leprosy he totally freaked out. Can you guess what today's story is about? The king asked to
heal someone of leprosy? That would totally freak me out too but it has to be the king of Israel.
That's right my friend today's story is about the king of Israel.
The king of Syria was so excited to learn that Captain Naaman could be healed
in Israel. So even though they were enemies he wrote a letter to the Israelite king to ensure
that Naaman was healed. The king of Israel fearfully exclaimed oh no he must want another
war. Everyone knows it's impossible to cure leprosy. Thankfully all his worries and fears
were relieved when the prophet Elisha sent a message instructing him not to be afraid
because there is nothing impossible with God. Prayerfully Elisha assured the king that God
could and would save Captain Naaman from leprosy and that is exactly what he did.
God helped the king and Naaman. Wowzers I get it instead of trying to do it on my own I should
really ask God for help. Now you're tracking Melissa. No matter how big or small our problems
may seem God can help us with it all because our help comes from God.
