Welcome back to Graceville, where God's love is everywhere. It's me, Pastor Anastasia,
and I'm so super duper excited that you've joined me today as we learn more about our
best friend Jesus. Today's special feature comes to us all the way from Puerto Rico,
where my friend Nathan has prepared a beautiful piano selection. Let's listen in.
That was awesome! Boys and girls, remember, if you want to share your gifts or talents for Jesus,
please ask your parents or guardians to inbox me and I'd be happy to share with our friends.
Hurry up! Come along with me to nature time with our friend Ryan from Canada.
I can't wait to see who or what we'll be learning about today. Let's go!
Hello boys and girls, and welcome again to nature time at Graceville.
Today we're going to be talking about the wind. Let's tune in.
When we talk about wind, we're really talking about the movement of air on the earth.
Wind is caused by differences in atmospheric pressure. Low air pressure means there's room
for more air in a certain part of the earth, while high air pressure means this area doesn't
need any more air. So if the air pressure is low in a city, it will suck air into the atmosphere,
causing bad weather like hurricanes. When the city has high air pressure, it pushes the air out.
This is where we have nice weather. When air is sucked into the atmosphere or pushed out,
it creates wind. We can't see it, but we can certainly feel it.
And guess what? It can push you wherever it's going, and that can be anywhere.
In John chapter 3 verse 8, Jesus says,
The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or
where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. Have you heard of Philip in the
Ethiopian? The Spirit of God took Philip there because there was no one to explain the gospel
to him. And you know what? He wants to take you where the pressure is low, just like he did with
Bye boys and girls. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time.
His parents say that it's better for him to spend time helping others,
but Chad doesn't think the same way. Sounds like his parents are right.
Sometimes it can be so hard to make the right decision. That's why it's so important that we
listen to our parents, teachers, pastors, and friends as they give us godly advice.
Wait a minute. That reminds me of our theme for this week, which simply says,
Obey godly advice. Let me hear my little friend in St. Kitts say it.
Obey godly advice. And our memory verse is found in Titus 3 verse 1, and it simply says,
Be obedient to be ready to do whatever is good. Let me hear my little friend in Tanzania say it.
Be obedient to be ready for every good work. Titus chapter 3 verse 1.
Great job, everyone.
You're right. Even when we're unsure, it's best to be obedient to God's word.
Exactly. We can never go wrong when we follow the wise counsel of those that God has placed
in our lives. That's why today's story is about a woman whose obedience to her cousin helped her to
make a big decision that saved the lives of her people. Can you guess what today's story is about?
Let me think. Oh, Lucas, we know this one. Her obedience and faithfulness saved her people.
Oh, yeah. It's the story of Esther.
That's right, Lucas and Sophia. Today's story is about Esther.
Mordecai was very upset over the awful news that the wicked Haman had put an evil plan in place to
destroy all the Jews. When Esther learned the troubling news, it made her cry. But what could
they do? Not long after, her cousin Mordecai sent her a message encouraging her to stand up for her
people. Even though Esther was afraid, she trusted that Mordecai loved her and always gave her good
advice. Like the time he told her to keep her identity a secret. So she fasted and prayed along
with all the other Jews in Persia for God's help. Three days later, she bravely stood before her
husband, the king. Moved with compassion, he spared them. The Jews were saved all because Esther
followed godly advice. Whoa! I'm so glad that Mordecai was there to help and give advice to
Esther. I want to be just like Esther and listen to godly advice. Me too! When God places people
in our lives to lead us in the right direction, like Esther, we must choose to humbly listen
and obey godly advice.
