This House Uses Cuts Instead of Windows

At first, it feels completely closed. A solid block. Almost no windows. But everything happens in the cuts.

The Gauribidanur Residence is not designed by adding volumes. It’s created by removing them. Deep openings bring light inside, without exposing the house completely.

A design where space is not built… It’s carved.
