Dungog's a familiar place for me. I grew up doing a lot of riding out this way.
It's kind of like my second home as far as enduro goes, so really nice to be back
at the old slumping grounds. I'm familiar with the terrain and I come out lap one,
executed all my lines, hit my marks. I was really happy with how I come out swinging
and then just maintain that throughout the day. There wasn't many weaknesses in my day.
It was a fun weekend, tough weekend, but learned some lots and needed to do a bit more training
and try and have a bit of a play on more ground like this, but looking forward to the next round.
There's some special times where you get both bike and rider just hitting their marks 100%
and I think that weekend we just had was it. It's been a lot of years since I've had the
stars of the line like that and come together, so really happy to be kicking goals with the
team. We're in a really good spot moving forward for the rest of the year. Another good points
weekend, so stoked to get that one across the line and we'll keep pushing into the next round.
I got third yesterday and actually got the win today for day two, so I'm really happy with it
and looking forward to more time on the 250. It's a big change compared to last few years
on a big bike, so you've got to relearn how you ride the thing and I'm really happy with it and
looking forward to the next few rounds. All in all, solid weekend. Two wins in
Enduro Women's class extending my lead for this year in the championship and
yeah, all in all, couldn't be happier for the team. Today it's the first time the JGR,
all three riders are number one, so super stoked and can't thank all our partners enough.
