Go to work and respect who you're working with.
Reef has got a fantastic reputation with his fans,
terrible reputation with everybody else.
But I'm curious, there's three professionals who have got great reputations.
What advice would you give to young performers who are getting started in Hollywood
so that they don't wind up like Reef?
I would say if you're lucky like Reef,
surround yourself with friends and keep your friends
who maybe knew you before as well, if you can,
who can really ground you.
And we're going to be there by your side
through the good and the bad and the ups and the downs of it all.
I would say that there's no handbook or manual on being famous.
So you have to write your own and follow your own manuscript.
You've got to just make it your own.
You can't really do it, you know, you don't know what it's going to be.
And also there's, you know, reach out to other people that you admire
the way that they do it and ask them for some advice.
Keanu, you're going to be the person people look to then.
What about you? What would your advice be?
Uh, try not to be a...
And go to work and respect who you're working with
until they prove they don't get your respect.
No a-holes.
Try not to be.
It might not work out, but try.
In keeping with that, what...
I know you and Cameron obviously worked together in the 90s, 95, 96 in Feeling Minnesota.
How is it working together similar and how is it different for you guys this time around?
It wasn't my fourth film.
So I feel a little bit more capable and experienced than I did back then.
But just so honored to get to work with Keanu as I did 30 years ago,
just to be able to do it again now.
He's the same, you know, generous, such a good human.
That I just... nothing's changed in that way.
Yeah, but I'd say the same to you.
I mean, like, I would say it's almost the same.
It's just kind of like, let's go to work, let's play,
let's do whatever we're doing as best as we can.
Yeah, and you also get to re-team with Drew Barrymore in this.
Now, I feel like you've worked with two-thirds of the Charlie's Angels cast from Cameron's time.
What do we need to do to get you together with Lucy Liu?
Do we need to do like a third Charlie's Angels film and get Keanu involved in this?
Oh my God, thank you for that.
Yeah, definitely.
Maybe we'll get it made if Keanu will be a part of it.
Matt, I know you guys worked with Jonah, you know, behind the scenes on this,
but what was your reaction when you saw Jonah in character?
These two can speak to it more eloquently than I can,
but he made us all fall out laughing daily.
He's just so brilliant at what he does and he can,
you know, maneuver the serious tones and the comedic tones just seamlessly.
